During the camp, you will be staying in family operated BnB. You will stay in premium accommodation. Get a feel for everyday local island life and some straightforward Croatian hospitality! You will have absolute privacy and time for yourself.


In this SUP camp, Malik Adventures Croatia uses expedition type SUPs to explore villages off the beaten path. You will sleep in premium family owned BnB, relax on tranquil secluded beaches; eat in local or family cooperatives, otherwise not open to public. You will paddle past caves, cliffs, and optionally a shipwreck.

Malik Adventures Croatia’s summer adventure tours are based in North Dalmatia in picturesque islands around Zadar. It is only an hour drive by boat but far from main tourist routes, which makes it a perfect archipelago for their small group adventure travel activities.

The activities start from village Molat on island Molat, and from village Sali on island Dugi Otok. From there, Malik Adventures Croatia organizes guided and self-guided sea kayaking tours, big game fishing trips, multi activity adventure trips, and dolphin research volunteering activities.

Malik Adventures Croatia’s responsibility is to ensure that travel has only positive affect on local culture. That means dosing influence of travelers to avoid mass touristification. Malik Adventures Croatia ventures out to explore the maze of islands, islets, and stone stacks. To remind you, their home turf is one of the densest archipelagos in Mediterranean. Closest islands are just 50 meters apart. You can easily up the game to some isolated islands and expect very rewarding snorkeling sessions.

This itinerary serves as approximate guide. Malik Adventures Croatia wants to give you an authentic Croatian adventure rather than to check the boxes of an itinerary agenda. Their route may change during the trip to take the advantage of any possible opportunity, such as the weather conditions or according to the groupʼs preferences. Please note that weather conditions, transport delays, and other factors may influence the itinerary.

In this holiday, every day starts with a relaxed and hearty breakfast. You will experience three to six hour or four to 15 kilometers paddling per day. For experienced paddlers, you have option to extend to 25 kilometers paddling. You can also experience a cliff jump or snorkeling just a few kilometers more than you thought you can handle. Real life is everything beyond the comfort zone. They want to help you move your limits on this adventure trip, mentally and physically. That is why you are here, to become a better adventurer, traveler, athlete, and person.

Retreat itinerary

Day 1

The first day is your arrival day. Once you arrive, you walk to your accommodation and check in. In the afternoon, you will do short walk approximately an hour to nearby peak to show you some less known spots in the town. From your accommodation, you will have great views of the archipelago.

Day 2

Your second day will be relaxed day. After breakfast, you get on your SUP for a relaxed paddling session in secluded Brgulje Bay. You will circumnavigate Brgulje's little island (known for rabbits living there). You will have a short walk and swim in Brgulje. After that, you will head back to Molat where late lunch is served in one of the family restaurants.

In this day, you will visit Pebblestone beach on Tovarjak Island and snorkeling spot with underwater caves which is eight meters deep. You will paddle for eight kilometers taking three hours.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will get on the bicycles. In this day, you will witness scenic bike ride, sandy beach and bay, and Snow Queen Chapel. You cycle on a small island road to village Zapuntel. There, you get on SUP and all your gear is transferred by car. The three kilometers paddling route goes through a narrow strait between Ist and Molat and finishes in sandy bay of town Ist. The, you hike up to Snow Queen Chapel on the 175 meters high hill for great views of the archipelago. You will return to Ist and have a light lunch and cup of coffee at the beach bar.

You will paddle and cycle back to Molat. You will have a dinner prepared by one of the local families (their daily catch or locally caught calamari). In this day, you experience 18 kilometers cycling for one and a half hour, six kilometers paddling for one and a half hour, and an hour hiking.

Day 4

Today is your longest paddling day. You will paddle for 12 to 20 kilometers taking approximately five hours. You will visit submarine caves, military canon caves, and Brščlak pebblestone beach. After breakfast, you head towards Bonastar Bay where you will explore Cold War era military caving system. From there, you continue along Brščak and cliffs of Golac to Dugi Otok. You will make a break in the submarine caves. The, you continue to Zverinac and have a dinner there. You will either paddle back or take a car ferry back to Molat.

Day 5

After breakfast, you do a shorter paddling exploration in wind protected, Jazi bay, with an extension to and island Tovarjak. You will paddle in tranquil waters and visit little village Brgulje. In this day, you will paddle for 10 kilometers approximately taking two hours. There will be optional detour to one of the smaller caves in nearby coves.

Day 6

In this day, you will explore shallow waters in south part of Molat. You will head out from Jazi Harbour to sandy beach Sabuša, where you have a picnic lunch stop. Then, you continue along the narrow strait, couple other coves, and finish in Molat's main. You will have 10 kilometers paddling approximately taking four hours. You will paddle in Sabuša sandy beach and Molat's south coast with shallow turquoise waters.

Day 7

Today will be your last day. You will catch early morning catamaran departing Molat at 6:50 a.m. Your breakfast is packed to go to allow for maximum sleeping time.


You are going off the beaten path, meaning you will be in Molat Island, Croatia. The activities takes place in different places; Pebblestone Beach on Tovarjak Island, Zapuntel Village, Ist Island, Bonastar Bay, Brščak Pebblestone Beach, cliffs of Golac, Dugi Otok, Zverinac, Jazi Bay, Brgulje Village, and Sabuša Beach.


In this camp, you will be served daily breakfast from a collection of local ingredient; ham, cheese, eggs, or jams over to vegan or vegetarian specialties with a few little surprises Malik Adventures Croatia will reveal when you are there. You will also be served three dinners and a lunch during your holiday.

Adventure nourishes your soul and then you need something for the body too with an island twist. Every island has a slightly different recipe for buzara, the bell, pašticada. It adds an element of passion when it is home made. There are also vegetarian, vegan, gluten free variations of local dishes. At the end of the day, when your body is happy, when you sit down and hear the silence of the sea in the distance, dinner is served.
