The house is made for several people with one single room option or shared room options. It is a very quiet and beautiful bed and breakfast renovated into a surf house in the middle of the village and really close to amazing surf spots!

Program

A week entirely dedicated to improving your surfing skills thanks to:

Daily surf sessions
Video coaching with debriefing and analysis
Surf skate lessons
Introduction to freediving to help you become more confident in the water

Sylvain, your surf coach for this trip, has been teaching pro surfers all over the world for many years. He also loves teaching all those who are new to surfing and transmitting his passion. A week with a maximum of six participants to ensure real teaching quality. You will surf between the surf spots of the Basque Country and the Landes, depending on conditions. The trip starts on Tuesday around 5:00 p.m. and finishes on Sunday around 3:00 p.m.

Objectives

Reading the wave: formation of a peak and choice of taking direction when taking off
Learn about the rules of priorities in the water and know how to react in different unexpected situations
Reinforcement of the take-off technique and the efficiency of wave entry
Surfing the shoulder of the wave and start tracing trajectories

Mountains first introduced Sylvain to the joys of snowboarding. However, mesmerized by the waves, he moved to Biarritz at the age of fifteen to obtain his state surfing certificate. After California, he then left for the Indian Ocean and Reunion Island. After ten dreamy years of enjoying, training, supporting and watching children of great talent grow, a true love story was born for his profession. Sylvain spent many years observing, refining, listening to, planning, training, coaching and filming professional surfers!

Location

The camp will take place in Guéthary, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France. The charming Iratzenia guest house in the village of Guéthary is just a few minutes walk from the legendary Parlementia spot.

Food

Daily vegetarian meals included in the price are made by a chef with local products and served at the surf house or on a picnic directly in front of the waves.

A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
The rest of the payment should be paid 15 days before arrival.
