The hotel has got 12 rooms, a restaurant, and a bar with esplanade. The rooms offer fabulous views of the mountains and the sea of the small town of Porto da Cruz. All of the rooms are equipped with television, satellite connection, desk, air-conditioner, bathtub, telephone, strong-box, table, and chairs on the balcony.
Madeira nature surf and yoga retreat is a five-day course. Each day is divided into three parts, yoga session in the morning, three hours of surf theory, surf lesson, photo analysis, and yoga session. Madeira Calhau Surf School is committed to taking you surfing in the best conditions, the day’s schedule is flexible and will change accordingly. Mid tide is needed to surf so the surf sessions and theory may take place in the morning or afternoon, depending on the tides and the winds.

An-hour yoga session twice a day is designed to complement your surfing. The yoga will not only improve your balance and offer a welcomed relief to sore muscles from all the surfing but a chance to refocus and settle your mind after the adrenaline of the day.
Cecilio Faria aka Cecil, exalted waterman sports, won a title of Regional Bodyboard Champion and participated in several events of the National Circuit. He practices surfing daily and his shortboard has passed through all the waves of Madeira. It also has music as a hobby, as DJ has performed in various bars and music festivals
Locally born, Augustu Mendes is the regional champion in bodyboard for several years in a row and knows our home break better than anyone. He spends most of his time in the water and lives right at the beach.
Swedish born snowboarder who emigrated to Madeira in 2005, he is the newest addition to the team. He helped to introduce longboard skating some 10 years ago on the island and have since then progressed in his surfing with each year passing.
This surf camp will take place in Porto da Cruz, a charming village on the northeast coast of Madeira Island, Portugal. This place is famous for surfing; excellent for a sea bath or for a stroll on one of the many trails that cross beautiful landscapes in Porto da Cruz. In addition to all this, there is a unique rock formation with 580 meters of height called Penha d'Águia between Porto da Cruz and Faial. It is possible to climb it by a steep path with fabulous views of the sea and the surroundings.
