Luggage room / storage
It is one of the most interesting surf camps in Fuerteventura, suitable for kiters and surfers. Line Up is the only surf camp in Fuerteventura that has been purposely redesigned and rebuilt as such. They know what surfers and kiters are looking for in a surf holiday and kitesurf experience; comfortable and clean accommodation in a modern, spacious, and stylish design.
Private suite room
You will be staying in a suite with private bathroom that can accommodate up to two persons. The surf lodge is equipped with eight exclusive rooms, two modern kitchens, laundry area, and a big sports storage. The surf house has a lounge and common spaces and a smart TV room with Youtube and Netflix included. The big patio area includes stone showers, outside dining area, barbecue zone, and Bali-beds.
Line Up Fuerteventura has adapted their camp to comply with the new COVID requirements. There are very strict rules when it comes to cleaning and disinfecting so you can feel safe.
As part of the program, there will be a practical kite tuition for five days. The tuition will include basic lesson such as equipment discovery, security system, and procedures, setting up, launch and land, fly control, body drag, first water start, controlled water start, and first ride downwind.
Kite control and safety
On day one, you will learn how to control the kite on the beach and how to use the security systems along with basic weather and safety theory. You will then be ready for the boat session.
Water sessions will start with body dragging, techniques to launch the kite while in the water, followed by water starts, and progressing to your first rides. The boat will follow you and will always be at visual contact as the instructor supervising your progression. The water sessions allow you to progress fast in a safe environment. You will be able to ride straight ahead without obstacles and enjoy a maximum kiting experience.
Practice makes perfect
There will be more kite launches, water starts, and downwind rides achieving kite and board control optimization, possibly first upwind rides. The session will provide you with a chance to polish and improve all techniques learned in previous sessions under expert supervision.
First beach start session
On day one, you have learned how to control the kite on the beach. While on day two and three, you have progressed to your first rides on the open water. If the weather conditions are appropriate, you will have the option to replace the boat session with a beach start session.You will learn how to organize your own beach set up correctly. You will aim for a safe riding to and from the beach optimizing fast and smart progression.
The kite camp will take place in Corralejo, Fuerteventura, Spain. Fuerteventura is perfect for water sport holiday destination as it has different ocean conditions, pristine waters, good weather all year round, kilometers of sandy beaches and reef breaks, and frequent flights from Europe. Frequently compared to the Hawaiian north shore, Fuerteventura is also known as a quiet island. It’s the ideal place to take it easy and enjoy the healthy lifestyle with friends and family.
