There is an awesome wooden surf mansion for 10 people - with two terraces for breakfast, a beautiful garden for yoga sessions, a huge living room with a large TV, and Bose sound system; as well as a nice grand kitchen with shared fridge. A lot of space for beer and tasty French wine!

Program

In the morning, a person which will be selected the evening before, together with a trainer will get croissants chauds and baguettes fraîches from the Boulangerie. The first challenge will be to order completely in French!

As a group of maximum eight people, you will surf together with either Clément or Julie. They’ll show you the basics and get you safely into the first waves! Attention, les cahiers de vocabulaire stay at home, so you better be vocabulary-safe! But no worries, a French trainer will always be close to help you!

In the French course, you will learn the basics of surf and beach vocabulary (either in the future or in the past). All your questions will be answered – en français bien sûr!

At the end of the day, everyone who has booked the package will have the opportunity to do an hour of yoga with Sidney. She will always let you know one day in advance if she will come to your house or if you should meet her at the beach.

After the French and surf course, everyone can enjoy his temps libre – either on the beach, in the village, or in the garden of the house!

A very positive French girl from the Bordeaux area, Céline guides you through and gives you an immersive French language course that will help you enter the wonderful French culture and cuisine that you will never forget!

Location

The spot where Kelly Slater won his first world surf league championship is obviously a mythical place. The surfer culture in Hossegor is unprecedented, yet the little town preserves it's laid-back positive vibrations.

Right next to it is the surf spot, Capbreton, with nice beach brakes that are perfect for beginners to intermediate surfers and has a very open-minded feeling with occasional beach concerts and one of the best beach cafés with it's own craft beer. You wish you could never leave!

Please book your flight to arrive at Bilbao Airport (BIO), Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport (BOD), or Biarritz Pays Basque Airport (BIQ). Transfers from these airports are not included. Le Bon Mot can always pick you up from Hossegor for free. You don't need a car to move around as you can easily walk or bike to all destinations; and if you are too tired, Le Bon Mot can drive you.
