Accommodation

This hostel has 55 clean and comfortable beds in a variety of centrally heated dorm, private and family rooms. Along with hot showers in the modern bathrooms, it also has outside facilities for wetsuit and gear rinse off. To make your stay more affordable, Lahinch Hostel boasts a well-equipped self-catering kitchen with generous seating. In addition, you can relax, chill out and mingle fellow travelers from all over the world in the spacious lounge with satellite TV, DVD, and internet facilities. Lahinch Hostel also has an open-air roof top barbecue and a picture perfect view of the now world famous Lahinch beach and it’s many visiting surfers.

The Hostel is centrally located which means the beach, the surf, the bars, the shops, and the atmosphere and buzz of Lahinch is all on your door-step. Also as Lahinch is situated on the world famous rugged Atlantic coastline of West Clare, the Hostel is centrally located to some of Ireland’s unique and stunning scenery, including The Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Loop Head and the Shannon Estuary.

Lahinch has become renowned as one of the foremost surfing locations in Ireland, as well as other watersports including kitesurfing and sea kayaking. Some of Ireland’s top waves are located here, and many renowned surfers in Ireland, are local surf instructors who are both qualified in surf coaching and trained as lifeguards.
