There are shared dorms (mixed and female) for 6 people and private rooms for 2, 3 or 4 people with a queen bed and a single or bunk bed. All of them have AC, a private bathroom and a garden view. La Posada surf Camp also have a nice swimming pool, BBQ, full equipped kitchen, bar, billiard, ping pong and a beautiful common area to share some time or just be by yourself. Chill atmosphere and music!

An international Surf Camp and hostel located in the heart of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Just a few meters away from one of the best surfing spots which also offers the opportunity to enjoy the amazing colors of everyday sunset on the Pacific Ocean. Santa Teresa will allow you to explore the lush jungle, beautiful waterfalls, the varied sea life and national parks.
La Posada surf Camp are committed to create an inclusive and friendly atmosphere to allow the guests to enjoy their time and activities at their best. Connect with yourself and others, with nature and with the ocean: they will make sure your adventure is that of one in a lifetime.
You'll be advised and helped at all times by the host during your Camp. You will be able to create your experience in the way you prefer the most and you will also be able to join group activities, spend some leisure time in the different common areas such as the bar, kitchen, swimming pool and lounge area. La Posada surf Camp location is perfect: the supermarkets are just 1 minute away. Banks, shops, pharmacies, etc. are just 3 min away.
Surf classes for all levels. You are in the hands of professionals ISA Certification & Lifeguards that will make sure that learning to surf is memorable and fun. Each class is from 1 to 2 hours. Pickup from the hostel to the beach, surf boards are included.

Tortuga Island Snorkeling Tour
Enjoy a full-day boat trip to Isla Tortuga. Snorkel, have a delicious meal on the beach, and discover Costa Rica’s pure nature and wildlife. Be ready to fully relax on the beach while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean on the right and the landscape of the Nicoya peninsula on the left.
ATV rental
Have some fun riding an ATV. This is one of the best ways to move around town, to go visit different beaches and experience some other beautiful towns like Montezuma and Cabuya.
Snorkeling
Mal Pais provides you with the possibility of finding natural pools on low tide where you will be able to chill. You can also go deeper with your snorkeling equipment to see turtles, stingrays, and all kinds of fish.

Jonathan is a local surf lover who dedicated his life to surfing. He has been working with La Posada Surf Camp because of his professionalism which guest always appreciates. He surfs the water every day so he knows when it is the best time and best spot for the different surf levels. He is a great partner to feel safe to go surfing with.
Location
Hostel La Posada is located in Playa Carmen, only 100 meters from the beach, 50 meters from the best supermarket where you will find everything you need, 200 meters from the intersection, where banks are located, and a few meters from bars, restaurants, pharmacy, and a laundry.
The best surf point is a few minutes' walk from Santa Teresa.
Santa Teresa basically consists of the main street parallel to the sea where you can find all the restaurants, bars, and surf shops.
And if you want just one day to relax under your personal palm tree, you can head to Mal País side, which offers a chill atmosphere, local fish market, and some secluded beach areas. This is also the place where the Cabo Blanco National Park starts and in case you are a nature-animal-hiking lover the park has some great options for you.

At the camp, you will find all the recommendations about the variety of different food cultures around the town. You will also find a shared kitchen where you can prepare your own meals and some supermarkets around the corner to buy anything you need!
Daily breakfast is included in every package. La Posada Surf Camp has coffee, tea, pancakes, fruits, granola, and yogurt.

La Posada Surf Camp offers a large variety of extra activities during your free time, such as:
Water surf photos
1.5 hours photo session taken by a professional photographer. You will get at least 20 photos of you going in the water, floating, surfing, and enjoying your time in the ocean. You will get them edited and in high quality in your email address 2 days after the shooting!
Spanish classes
There is no better way to get immersed into a culture than by learning the language. Understanding local people and their unique expressions and ways of speaking can create a feeling of belonging. The Spanish classes will demolish this barrier: with each class, you will be a step closer to feeling “local”. All the teachers are bilingual and will prepare the necessary material to fulfill your personal needs when approaching the language: classes are personalized! They will also provide you with the possibility of putting what you have learned into practice: they have an optional monthly gathering! Come and enjoy a few drinks at sunset or dinner at one of the local restaurants!
Massage
After long surfing days, the best option to relax your mind and body is a good massage. You can choose between relaxing, stretching, stimulating, deep tissue, and therapeutic style. Unlock physical, emotional, and mental boundaries.
Waterfalls trekking
Enjoy a full day in the surroundings of Santa Teresa. We will visit the three most important waterfalls: Montezuma, Cocalito and La Florida, in a guided trekking that you will remember for life! Includes transportation, lunch, fruits, drinks and coconut water.
Cabuya + Cacao Tour
You will visit the towns of Cabuya and Montezuma, their beaches, Isla Cementerio, and their surroundings. In the end, a cocoa tour where you will learn the process from when we harvest the fruit to the chocolate itself. You will take your chocolate bar made with your own hands. A plus? You can add a trek through the Cabo Blanco National Park!
Tortuga Island Snorkeling Tour

Horseback riding
If you love horses and sunsets then this is the right activity for you. Enjoy the paradisiac beaches in a different way: watch the sunset over the ocean from the comfort of your saddle, experience the lush jungle and its fauna, and soak up the breathtaking views of the ocean. This activity welcomes people of all ages!
Zip Line
You'll be flabbergasted while zip-lining through the lush vegetation of the rainforest. The zip line tour is a fantastic way to take advantage of Costa Rica’s stunning canopy views. There isn´t any other ride like this: come and experience it yourself.
Scuba diving
One thing you can count on in the mercurial Pacific is excitement. They dive into it every day and are always looking forward to the adventures and surprises it may bring. Even from one dive to the next the conditions can vary greatly, so they always brief the divers on the potential of challenging conditions, which invariably make for a fun and memorable experience. Sharks, morays, lobsters, sting rays, crabs, and schools of colorful fish are all creatures you see on a daily basis, and in addition, you have two distinct seasons for very special visitors: the oceanic manta ray (January-April) and the humpback whales (August-September). They like keeping the dive groups small, so you will go out on boats with no more than five or six people plus two PADI dive professionals. That way they make sure that everyone has the attention they need.
Freediving and apnea lessons
Survival Apnea is a course designed by Freedivers and Big wave Surfers, and the main goal of the course is to develop self-awareness, self-control, mental resilience, and ocean confidence through breath and breath-holding training. This course is not only designed for those who are willing to increase their performance, but also for anybody who is willing to improve health and life in general.
ATV rental
