You will stay in the air conditioned rooms which designed with traditional reed roof tops and cozy blue walls. All rooms are furnished with a queen sized bed, cabinet and a large bamboo chair on the porch to relax. You'll also enjoy your own tropical style outdoor bathroom with hot shower.

We offer the same packages to all of our guests. This includes surf lessons for all levels and excursions to some of Lombok's most beautiful locations. Whether you are taking your very first step into surfing or you are an experienced surfer looking for more tips and tricks, all levels are welcome. We aim to give 2 surf lessons a day, depend on the tides and swell. The excursions are in between surfing. All beginners will take the first introduction on the beach. You will learn how to be safe in the water and how to handle your surfboard. Meantime you'll learn how to read waves and step by step move on to surfing green waves.

Bat Cave - get ready to go underground. A really big cave with thousands of bats. This hidden gem will give you an unforgettable experience.

Sunset view in Kuta - we will take you to the best spot to watch the sun set into the ocean or behind the mountains, depending on the time of year.

Tour to waterfalls in North Lombok - at the bottom of the majestic Mount Rinjani lays Benang Stokel. A two hours trip takes you to the most gorgeous waterfalls in Lombok. A must see when you're on this tropical island.

Trip to Sasak Village - Sasak are the natives of Lombok. Visit one of their villages to experience the culture and see how the people of Lombok used to live. There are also plenty of local crafts such as batik weaving, clay pottery and ring making.

Visit to Banyu surf shop - Visit a shaping bay. We'll take you to our local shaper to show you how it's done.

"I spent 12 wonderful days with my brother in Kura Kura surf camp in August 16 and can only recommend it! They always tried to find the best surf spots suitable for the group (no matter if you just started surfing or if you are already more advanced) and their wishes. Sometimes we even were the only ones at the most beautiful spots. "

"It's a very familiar camp. Tim, the owner, unfortunately, couldn't go surfing with us, but his three surf teacher took great care. Always lots of fun. We had a good time at the legendary bbq. so yummy! Exactly what you need after a long day of surfing. Hope to go back there (once the swimming pool is finished) and improve my (paddling)surfing."

"Myself and my girlfriend stayed at kura kura for just over a week and only left because of another booking that we couldn't cancel.. this is how a surf camp should be made, not focused on quantity (and squeezing money out of guests) like so many around, but instead keeping it nice and cozy, with a staff that showed a great ability to understand the guests' needs and a welcoming, unpretentious attitude (again, a rare thing in these sort of establishments). We absolutely agree with previous comments: if you're thinking about learning or improving your surfing while having a great time with a 'local' feel, you will love Kura Kura! As for ourselves, we truly hope to be back as soon as possible!!"

"Tim is the owner of Kura Kura Surf camp and it's a great place for lessons or boards. He's very knowledgeable on the places to go and happy to recommend a place even if you're just renting a board from him. The scooters are great and if not, the staffs are very helpful at the hotel that the camp is a part of. Both the hotel and Kura Kura are great spots, very close to downtown Kuta for food and in the middle of all the surf spots on the south coast of Kuta. The Wi-Fi is a little spotty as is the power at times, this affects the Wi-Fi but you're not there for screen time."

"Just come back from 2 weeks of surf at KuraKura Surf Camp. Was just amazing: beautiful and plenty of spots with almost nobody except us in the water, excellent teacher that will make you evolve quickly and will bring you at the right place according to your level, great activity to do before/after surf sessions (waterfall visit, sunset & bintang on the mountain with amazing landscape in front of you, cooking class, yoga). If you want to make a break, gili air (where we swim with tortle) is at 2.5h by car from Lombok. We took the AC room and accommodation was perfect (spacy room, great swimming pool in front of bungalow, delicious breakfast included, quiet, free Wi-Fi). I am just looking forward to come back, after these 2 weeks in paradise I don't want to surf anywhere else!"

"My experience at Kura Kura was amazing! The place is beautiful and the surf classes are amazing. Tim really knows how to teach you surfing, and make you understand and feel the waves and the sea. On top of that he always take care of you showing you the best places around to eat, watch sunsets, get some drinks.....and more and more...Really one of the best surfing places that i ever visit. Really quiet beaches with different type of waves, really close to the stay. Looking forward to repeat again the Kura Kura surf camp and get more surfing."
