The surf house has five guest rooms for two to six persons, a fully equipped kitchen, and three bathrooms. In the lounge area, you can relax reading a surfing magazine, watching TV or DVD, surfing on free Wi-Fi internet, or just hang out with the rest of the guests on the terrace in the back of the house.
The surf lessons are going to be held by experienced Portuguese instructor in English and each day, he will take you to the spot with the best conditions for your surfing skills. Wave quality depends on wind and swells directions, tides, the size of the waves, and at the end it as well as depends on the potential crowd factor. Your instructor will take care to avoid crowds and find ideal conditions to catch your first waves. Peniche and surroundings are the best regions for surfing in Portugal because of the dozen surf spots situated on a relatively short stretch of the coast.
Peniche is situated on a peninsula surrounded by long sandy beaches on both of its sides. Peniche area is famous for the reason that there is a dozen of various surf spots stretched on only a few kilometers of the coast, so you can always find your own wave on one of them. With the ocean, beaches, and waves from your dreams all around you, you’ll quickly get used to the surf lifestyle and if you are too tired to surf all day, you can travel around and get to know better this beautiful country. You can go on a day trip to Lisbon, explore towns and the coast around Peniche (Obidos, Nazare, etc.), and go to the nature reserve on the Berlengas. If you want to check nightlife after surfing, you will find a few good nightclubs and bars or beach bars in Baleal where you can party until the first morning light.
