The SUP lessons and tours take you on a hike along the picturesque coastline of Lagos and the Algarve - only that this hike takes place on the water. All of the different tours are accompanied by a qualified instructor who knows every single stone on the cliffs and in the water. Every tour includes a lesson and transportation to and from each spot. The yoga lessons take place in the yoga garden just behind the house.
A place surrounded by nature to get some distance from all electronic devices and the distractions of your everyday life. Some days the yoga instructors can even take you guys to the beach so you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sea breeze while practicing yoga. There is no better start to the day. Please take note this program is designed for all levels of surfers from 14 to 75 years old.
The spots
SUP Grottoes and secret beach tour Lagos
Arguably the single most impressive SUP tour you can do in Portugal. While all the mainstream tourists go to the Benagil caves the true connoisseurs come to discover your secret grottoes in Lagos. The dramatic cliffs, pinnacles, hidden beaches, and grotto caves around Lagos are as scenic as it gets. The hosts have an early bird approach: the golden light just after sunrise is magic, and there are minimal crowds. On-demand, they can also offer a sunset tour, but only if there is not too much wind in the afternoon.
SUP lake tour
Barragem de Bravura is the name of the beautiful lake where you will do this unique SUP tour at. The calm and clear freshwater lake is the perfect spot for stand-up paddle beginners, families with kids, and people who do not feel comfortable in the open sea. Once you feel confident with your paddling skills you will realize the stunning nature around you. This tour lets you explore the green heart of the Algarve while getting a good workout for your whole body. Bring some empty water bottles to fill up in the lake. The water is the clearest freshwater in the area!
SUP river tour
On this tour, you will head to the beautiful Rio de Aljesur where you will start in the green and flourishing nature. Paddling along that river is a great way to start with stand-up paddleboarding as there are no waves at all and the water is nice and clear. If you are lucky and the conditions allow, you can even try your skills in tiny waves close to the shore at the river mouth or you can play around a bit by trying some SUP-yoga or just jumping into the refreshing water.
