How to get there

Arrival by airplane

If you prefer to fly from the UK, or other main European airports, then you can choose to fly to either Marrakech or Agadir. There is Easyjet, Ryanair, Royal Air Maroc, and BMI that all offer direct flights. If you choose to fly to Marrakech, then its an easy 1.5 hour transfer to Essaouira, mainly highway, so it's a comfortable drive.

If you choose to fly to Agadir, the transfer will take slightly longer, about 2 hours, on a windy coastal road, which is one of the most beautiful drives in Morocco! It's a great chance to take a glimpse at the wave spots of Taghazout or Imsouane on your way to Essaouira.

You can benefit from your included airport transfer if you arrive at Agadir-Al Massira Airport (AGA) or Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK).
