Accommodation will be in Dreamsea Surf Camp Cantabria' fabulous glamping tents. Glamping is a fusion of glamour and camping so you don’t have to sacrifice your comfort while experiencing the great outdoors. When glamping, you can find that beautiful connection with nature whilst sleeping in a huge 20 square meter eco-friendly tent; which comes fully furnished with a real bed, electricity, and wooden deck floors (so no dirt getting all through your bed).

Yoga and meditation

Enjoy yoga and meditation sessions with Kiki (Kirsty Wright Yoga) each morning and evening. In this surf camp environment, you will start the day with an energizing flow to wake up the whole body, to be ready for a day in the water. You will finish off the class with a short meditation so that by the end of the class, you have made a nice connection between the breath, body, and self before stepping into the ocean and trying to connect with the waves.

Surfing takes a lot of energy, especially when you are just learning. You can imagine how tiring it is to endure a couple of hours of paddling and battling with the ocean. Your shoulders and chest will really feel it. Therefore, you will finish off your day with a slow, juicy class with deep stretching and a long relaxation.

All classes are suitable for yoga students of all levels so whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned yogi, Kirsty Wright Yoga will accommodate and challenge you.

Surfing

If you ask surfers why they love to surf, you will probably find that they will give you many of the same reasons as yogis would give you for why they practice yoga. It is the peace that you feel afterwards, the feeling of connection to something that is bigger than yourself, and a sense of community yet complete independence all at the same time. Yoga and surf really do go together like churros and chocolate sauce.

Maybe your feet have never touched a surfboard in your life or maybe you spend every day out in the ocean; either way you will hit the water with Kirsty Wright Yoga's surf instructor for ten hours of fun this week. If you have the stamina, you also have the freedom to take a board from the surf tent outside of lesson times and to work on your new skills. This week’s surfing will not only benefit your body but also your mind and your yoga practice. Surfing and yoga are the couple of the year.

An excursion to nearby town Comillas and a mountain bike trip to Oyambre National Park are other things that will enrich this surf and yoga holiday.

"Johnson teaches Anya’s signature class, which is part meditation, alignment, kinesiology, core and enough vinyasa flow to remind me it is yoga. Johnson is a fierce teacher with a Zen presence and the class itself brings a keen awareness to your movement."

"Kirsty is a calm and nurturing teacher. Her classes are enjoyable, sweaty and motivating. I have gained so much knowledge about yoga, exercise and myself through Kirsty. She loves what she does and walks the talk, she is so bendy! I enjoy my yoga classes with Kirsty. If I am rushed or stressed when I get there, she calms me by speaking ever so softly and by simply asking how I am."

"I met this bright soul at a yoga ashram in India. It was 26 intensive days to share a room and a life experience with her. Open minded, genuine, compassionate, and level-headed, Kirsty can always be counted on to listen and provide support when needed. Her wonderful sense of humor, adventure, and life experiences have given her the ability to see any situation in a positive sense. She is professional and dedicated to yoga, trying to find the real truth, not giving up along the path. She gave me my first experience in AcroYoga and massage. She was the pilot, I was the plane and my happiness was reaching the sky full of stars. Personally believing that "people come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime" I know Kirsty Wright is a lifetime friend."

Kirsty has a real presence about her and has boundless energy and a passion to share her knowledge and love of yoga. Kirsty has also given me the knowledge and techniques to push through mental barriers I didn’t know I had."

"I appreciate the way Kirsty teaches her classes. I find it very calming, relaxing, and gives me the best nights sleep. Yoga is truly a gift to your self and Kirsty is a gift to yoga. Her classes allow me to bring my mind, body, and soul back into balance. I couldn't achieve this without Kirsty. She also has a very calming voice which is my favorite especially when she sings."
