You will experience 2 daily outdoor activity sessions (beach workouts, runs, or SUP) that will leave you energized and refreshed like you haven’t felt in years. You will stay for 6 nights at a beautiful beachfront resort.

Each day, your amazing coaches will lead you through two different activities that combine fitness, recovery, and fun. One day may start with a jog and end with SUP, and another day may start with a beach workout and end with a stretch and mobility session. Every fitness level will be accommodated, and the coaches will challenge each individual to help achieve their goals for the retreat.

This unique getaway is for moms to connect, be active and adventurous, yet relax at the same time. It's a time where all the details are flawlessly taken care of, and where you can breathe and take care of yourselves for once.

In between your workouts, you will have opportunities to relax on the beach or in the pool, socialize over meals at amazing local restaurants, and soak up the culture with local excursions and activities like hiking in Las Catalinas and taking an (optional) surfing lesson.

    Carey is a physiotherapist, health coach, running coach mamma, runner and adventurer. Her mission is to empower moms through running and fitness because when moms move, kids move.

  • Cheryl Borecky

    Cheryl Borecky has acquired a plethora of course studies and certifications in the recreation field including coaching and fitness theory, swimming, paddling, rope and river rescue, skiing as well as first aid / CPR. She is also a CrossFit trainer and WPA stand-up paddle board instructor.

From start to finish, Stacey had every detail planned out without feeling that it was too structured. I went on the trip alone, and walked away with a ton of new friends.     "I went on my first "fitcation" with Ketanga in Costa Rica. It was amazing!! We ran on the beach every morning during sunrise, followed by a TRX session in the sand. Every evening we would meet for another workout, and then in our downtime we just chilled on Costa Rica's beaches. We also did some group activities such as surfing and zip lining."

    "I felt so rejuvenated by the end of the trip - between the heat, the fresh food, and the workouts, I lost about 2 inches from my waist in 5 days! It's a great escape during New York City miserable winters, especially if it's ruining your drive to workout. Highly recommended!"

    "I love fitness and travelling so I thought it was the perfect vacation for me. I would definitely do another in the future! Also, I really loved that even though it was a fitness retreat, we did a little of everything else (dancing, eating, drinking, hiking, relaxing at the beach or pool, and more). If you love fitness and travel then I think Ketanga fitness retreat would be perfect for you. It's also great to meet like-minded individuals and get to know new people."

    "Thank you Ketanga Fitness for this wonderful trip! I cannot rate coach Jay highly enough, he's truly outstanding. This trip was exactly what I needed as a kick start back to fitness. The resort was beautiful, the food was delicious and healthy, and the other members of the group were so sweet and encouraging. The workouts were intense and rigorous, but when necessary, coach Jay made accommodations and helped me get through it! This experience was well worth it!"
