This retreat will take place in Keros Bay, Lemnos Island, Greece. Keros bay is much more than just a surfing spot; the whole bay falls within the protected areas of NATURA 2000 and offers stunning views of unspoiled nature, hundreds of meters of sandy beaches, and clear blue water, salt lakes with pink flamingos, and perfect conditions for kitesurf.

Lemnos (officially also known as Limnos) is a lovely Greek Island, positioned in the northern part of the Aegean Sea. Limnos is the eighth largest island of Greece, spreading over 477 square meters. Its main city and seat of the municipality is Myrina, which has a harbor and is a trade center. To be found on the island are approximately 30 villages and settlements, as well as the only desert in Europe.

In the same province, there is the island of Agios Efstratios, which has some of the finest beaches in that part of the world. Lemnos Island is flat, yet on its northwestern part it is mountainous and rough. The island of Lemnos has preserved itself from the mass tourism, and today, it is a safe, friendly, and quiet place.

The locals are very hospitable and the natural surroundings are simple and pleasant to the eyes. The island is ideal for family vacations, for relaxation on the beach, or for kite-surfing and windsurfing activities.

The main towns and villages on the island of Lemnos include the administrative center and main port, Myrina, set at the west coast of the island; Platy, which is almost a suburb of Myrina, full of summer resorts; Atsiki, the largest village in the heart of the fields near the airport; and the historical port town of Moudros, east at the bay of the same name.

Among the must-see places on the island is the castle, from which you will see lovely views of the Chalkidiki peninsula and Mount Athos, as well as the other surrounding islands, such as Samothrace and Imvros.

The sunsets are truly breathtaking, the landscape is rough, the vineyards are lovely, and the local architecture is very interesting and diverse. There are numerous festivals organized on the island throughout the year; such as the Dormition Folklore Feast and the Sardine Festival, as well as many music events and celebrations.

The nightlife is seasonal and happens mainly in the summer. There are many small beach bars and several nice night clubs on the island. Usually, they work from the middle of June to the early September. The fish taverns, restaurants, and leisure cafés are open until late at night throughout the year.

People who spend their holidays on Lemnos Island usually go to the market street of Myrina, where they find what they need in terms of products and goods. Very popular on the island are the local dairy products and the quality wine. Clothing and jewelry are also bought as gifts.
