The villa has two floors and allows a maximum occupation of eight people. Downstairs, there are three bedrooms, two of them with a bunkbed and two bathrooms. There is also a toilet upstairs. There is free Wi-Fi in all the house and cable TV in the spacious living room.
Outside, there are several balconies with hammocks and puffs where you can relax after a surfing day or just chill out with a nice bottle of Portuguese wine.
During your stay in the holiday, you and your surf instructors generally will leave after breakfast and drive to the best beach for the prevailing conditions (waves, wind, and more). You will receive three to four hours of surf session plus extra time on the beach and will be brought back to the camp in the afternoon or in the evening.
The surf camp is located in Vila da Luz right next to the city of Lagos in the Algarve, Portugal. Everything is within walking distance: two minutes to the beach, two minutes to the nearest bars and restaurants, and five minutes to the supermarket and pharmacy.
During this surfing holiday, you will be served daily breakfast, five lunch packs, and five dinners. Jho'La Surf Camp provides vegan and gluten-free diet at a little extra cost. Please be sure to tell them in advanced if you have any food allergies or intolerances.
Please book your flight to arrive at Faro Airport (FAO), which is about a 50-minute drive from the surf camp.
Apart from Faro, you can get cheap flights to Lisbon and Seville, both of which are approximately 300 kilometers away. Jho'La Surf Camp encourages the arrival on Sunday to start the surf course on Monday. Transfers from and to the airport are available upon request.
From Faro, you can take the bus to Lagos and then the local bus to Luz.
