This adventure includes seven nights of lodging in a beachfront lodge. The Surf Iguana Camp will make your stay an unforgettable experience in the new and cozy Iguana Surf Beachfront Hotel that is located in the heart of Tamarindo and just a few steps from the Tamarindo beach.
Program
During this camp you will enjoy Surf, nature, good vibes, amazing sunsets, delicious food, party & much more... All this along with the coolest Crew in Tamarindo !!
The package includes five surf lessons in total and one surf trip along with a photo package and a video analysis session.
Private groups
Please take note this program will be private, meaning small groups that book this program will not be combined with strangers. The lodging and activities will be private for the group only.
Surf lessons
Each surf lesson is 120 minutes long and will be customized by your professional, bi-lingual, ISA certified surf instructor to your skills and fitness level. Your first lesson will start with a short introduction on the beach, covering the basics of surfing, safety tips and some exercises to practice getting up on the board. When your instructor feels you are ready for the real thing you will head out into the surf and practice what you have just learned. Your instructor will be with you in the water the entire time, offering direct feedback and instruction to help you form a solid foundation for the week of surfing ahead.

Itinerary
- Day 1: Warm welcome to Pura Vida land
- Day 2: The day stars with a surf lesson and learning everything from scratch!
- Day 3. Surf and explore this little Paradise
- Day 4: You will continue improving your surf skills and exploring our jungle beach and mystic town
- Day 5: Surf, eat, sleep, and repeat, though it's a joke as in Tamarindo there's always a lot to do
- Day 6: It is the day to shine in the water, surf and photo shoot!
- Day 7: Surf trip where the team will take you surfing a paradise beach that you'll never forget!
- Day 8: Last day in Paradise were you will finish this adventure with the last surf lesson of this journey and a warm departure from all the Iguana family!
Included excursions
One surf trip to a nearby break (Playa Avellanas / Playa Grande) is included.
Location
Iguana Surf Hotel is located in the heart of Tamarindo, so you can go walking to any place in town. The Hotel has a perfect location because it is just in front of the beach and a little away from the night clubs so you will not be affected by the noise and we are also in front of one of the best spots to surf "Pico" so it will be incredible to wake up, go down the stairs where your instructor will be waiting for you and just a few steps you will be in one of the best spots in Costa Rica.
