Choose your lesson time upon reservation and surf school availability. Remaining time free to enjoy the hotel and the region.
Suggestion:
- Day of arrival walk through Estoril and Cascais, explore its narrow cobbled streets, enjoy a drink or a meal whilst the sun shines on you.
- 2nd day, take your surf lesson. Enjoy a couple more hours on the beach. Remaining of the day you may take a boat tour or visit Sintra and it's fairytale castle. In alternative, Lisbon is less than half hour away by train and can easily be visited.
- 3rd day, after breakfast and check out you may relax by the pool in the hotel, go for a walk in glamorous Estoril or to the white sandy beach 5 minutes walk from the hotel. In alternative, you may wish to visit the monumental quarter of Belém and have one of the famous "Pastéis de Belém", custard cream pastries, at the original place they were created.
Location
The lesson will take place in one of the Estoril's region beaches. Estoril is a region with a mild climate all year round and landscapes of rare beauty. For its diversity, the Estoril coast is the destination that has it all for you in one place, you can discover over a thousand sensations.
Estoril is composed of stunning beaches like Tamariz to relax in the sun and help you forget the reality out there. Filled with impressive cliffs that will take your imagination to the other side of the Atlantic. Estoril also features gardens, villas, and palaces that will absorb you in its historical and glamorous singularity.
Restaurants, where you can enjoy fresh fish and seafood, are always welcoming and with sophisticated environments. The nearest shopping center in Estoril is Cascai shopping. Two minutes from the Inglaterra Hotel, you will find Casino Estoril, the oldest casino in Portugal, and one of the biggest in Europe. It is, in fact, a magnificent and ultra-modern multipurpose center of activities and entertainment. The Congress Center of Estoril is also around the corner.
Estoril is also considered a destination for the practice of golf and it houses golf courses designed by internationally renowned architects. Estoril is only a 30 minutes drive from Lisbon, five minutes from Cascais, and 15 minutes from Sintra.
