It is a powerful and hollow reef break. It favors high tide and north and northwest swell. It starts working at 3 - 4 foot and holds big swells. It is a great powerful wave on a good swell. It works left and right but better and longer on a right. You must watch out for the shallow reef on lower tides.

It is a series of consistent peaks with an easy take-off. It is powerful when overhead and works consistently on the northeast swell. It is good for beginners and intermediate surfers. Bobo's Point has lefts and rights.
La Derecha is the north coast’s most consistent spot. It has two peaks outside and inside with lots of waves and a reef that breaks like a point. It is good at smaller waves but can handle bigger size. It usually has long right-handers and when good, all the way to the shore.
La Izquierda is a hollow barreling, performance reef break. Two sections that usually connect make this a fairly long wave and also very consistent. It has breaks on all swell directions but best on a northwest and north swell. You must watch out shallow reef at lower tides.
