As with all Higher Living Now retreats, they use a blend of ancient teachings and modern science to raise your consciousness to live at a higher vibration. Life is slower and sweeter here in Nicaragua. ‘Sea’ you there!
You will be accommodated at Costa Dulce Retreat. When Higher Living Now says rustic luxury, think a modern-day Robinson Crusoe house. No televisions or air conditioning. There are bugs around, Costa Dulce Retreat is in the jungle after all, and don't be surprised when you come across wildlife close to the resort or passing through.
Costa Dulce is located within a tropical dry forest half of the year and a jungle during the rainy season. Costa Dulce Retreat shares the environment with monkeys, sloths, snakes, iguanas, turtles, birds, and bugs. They are environmentalist at heart and do their best to minimize their impact on the surrounding beauty. At Costa Dulce, they pride themselves on their laid back beach atmosphere. Costa Dulce Retreat tries and includes everyone, no exclusivity here. The rooms have been designed to take advantage of the local winds to stay cool and all are equipped with fans but they do not offer rooms with AC. Because of their close proximity to nature, you will experience it first hand. Costa Dulce Retreat is in the jungle and there will be bugs.
You’ll wake up in a luxury-meets-rustic bungalow to the sound of waves and walk a few steps to the open-air yoga studio overlooking the Pacific Ocean. After a healthy gourmet breakfast, enjoy activities like swimming, surfing, hiking, or reading in a hammock. Then join your SUP guide for paddle boarding (all levels, no prior experience needed) and hone your balance skills with a yoga pose or two. There will be a sailing excursion on the private sailboat and opportunities to help local sea turtle conservation efforts by guarding the hatchery at night or even releasing newly hatched baby sea turtles into the ocean!
