The Villa comes with four bedrooms all with full en-suite facilities, located in a beach side village called Madiha, close to the famous beach Mirissa. It has its own private swimming pool and jacuzzi, dining room, relaxing tropical landscaped gardens, terraces, and water features. The room options are on private and double room occupancy basis.

High on Surf runs from Wednesday to Wednesday each week. However, they understand that your schedules are different sometimes. A typical week at High on Surf is as follows,

Arrival day

You can check-in any time during the day. You will be warmly welcomed by High on Surf's staff and shown the way to the room. After you relax and settle-in, Madhu will meet you and give you an introduction to the surf camp team, villa, surrounding area, and the program for the week. This is also the time he will discuss your surfing ability, select the right board for you, and briefly discuss your goals for the surf week. Dinner is scheduled at 18:30 p.m, where you will get the chance to meet the others, who will be joining you for your week of surf and yoga.

Day 1

After breakfast, it will be time to head to surfing. Grab the sunscreen, water, your shorts or bikinis, and your brand spanking new High on Surf rash vest, and of course heaps of energy and enthusiasm. The group will be going by tuk tuk to take the 10 to 15 minute ride to your first surf location. At the beach, you will be split into groups based on your surfing ability level. This makes you at ease and confident, as you will be learning with a handful of other surfers, who are more or less at the same level as you are.

You will usually spend the first 20 to 25 minutes on the sand warming up, explaining a new skill or setting a drill, and then straight into the warm waters. After two hours in the water, you will head back to the villa.

After a quick shower and a glass of refreshing drink, you will sit down for a theory session in the cinema room. Your coach will evaluate your first session of surfing, teach basic surfing theory lessons, followed by a delicious lunch.

The yoga session is scheduled at 4 p.m. with a beautiful Sri Lankan sunset in the background. End your perfect day with a Sri Lankan rice and curry dinner made from fresh ingredients.

Day 2 and 3

It is best to head to surfing when the wind is still off shore. Grab a banana, a cup of coffee, and off you go for the surf!

After a two-hour surf session, you will head back and enjoy your well-deserved breakfast, followed by a theory class and some video analysis. You will then have a bit of free time before lunch. There is an optional free surf session with your instructor at 1 p.m. This will be a great opportunity for you to get a private lesson with the instructor. Yoga is scheduled at 4 p.m. and dinner is at 7 p.m.

Day 4

After your morning surf session and a hearty breakfast, it will be time for the city tour! You will be visiting a Batik factory, the famous white virgin tea factory, the ancient Yatigala temple, and the UNESCO world heritage site, Galle Fort. On your way back, make a stop for dinner at the famous Unawatuna Beach. This dinner is already included in the price.

Day 5

This time, you will be taken to Pehembiya bay in Nilwella, a surf bay with waves suitable for all levels of surfers. Yoga is scheduled at 4 p.m. Enjoy barbecues and bonfires in the evening.

Day 6

Surf in the morning and enjoy a complimentary full body or deep tissue massage at Secret Roots Spa. In the evening, everyone gathers for a few beers before dinner to see a slideshow of highlights from your surfing experience.

Departure Day

Check out is at 12 p.m, but you do not have to leave until later in the day, you can surf with one of your coaches.
