Looking for a getaway that nourishes the body and spirit? This surf and yoga package brings the art of surfing together with the flow of yoga. It’s been known throughout the years that the two disciplines go well together, as yoga helps to maintain a calm mind and help with core strength and balance, and surfing provides a fun interaction with the uncontrollable forces of mother nature. You will go through five intensive surf lessons, with pre-surf stretches and post surf analysis. Wind down and come back to your center with five yoga classes and one guided meditation session, which can also be replaced with surf fit training or MMA training. You're throwing in a full-body massage, lunch every day at a restaurant, roundtrip airport transfers, a USB filled with photos of the entire experience, a certificate of participation and welcome and goodbye dinners.

The resort sits in front of a powerful left-hand break called Tuason and is close to most of the other surf breaks and attractions on the island. Enjoy amazing Filipino fusion cuisine with a modern twist from the restaurant, and take a rest in the coziest accommodation in town. You can choose between the community dorm perfect for solo travelers, the deluxe room for big groups, or a private villa good for three to four persons. All rooms come with Wi-Fi, AC, hot and cold shower, and homey Filipino-inspired interiors.

Deluxe room

This standard room fits two to three people comfortably. It comes with optional air-con or electric fan, separate toilet, and shower rooms.

Community Youth Villa, Harana Surf Resort

Community Youth Villa is part of Harana Surf Resort. The community youth villa was designed for large groups of friends, barkadas and colleagues in mind. It’s a large room that fits up to twelve people comfortably. The beds are arranged in a bunk bed style where each bed has it’s own socket and reading lamp. The room is equipped with two sinks, two bathrooms and two toilets so the guests can utilize each comfortably.

The exact itinerary will be shared few days before the camp. It will depend on the weather and waves conditions. To be the best, you should learn from the best. Harana Surf Resort has put together some of the best surfers and instructors born and raised in Siargao Island to teach you all you need to be confident in the water. The courses involve a detailed theory session on land to help students understand the complex elements involved such as gear selection, reading the tides, swells, and of course, safety. After the theory, step into the water and learn how to read and select the right waves, pop up with ease, and paddle into your own waves. Harana Surf Resort’ll be taking pictures and video so you can see where to improve during post surf analysis. The course follows the standard curriculum certified by ISA (International Surfing Association) and moderated by members of SISA (Siargao Island Surfers Association).

You will enjoy the beginner, intermediate, and world-class waves with over 30+ breaks throughout the island including Cloud 9 and Tuason in front of the place!

Siargao is the surfing paradise of the Philippines. Located on the northeastern Pacific ridge of Mindanao, it is a unique island blessed with perfect white sand beaches, coconut trees galore, and all kinds of waves for all surfing levels. The surfing and tourist center is the town of General Luna, where the famous Cloud 9 wave is found. Apart from the picturesque coastlines and farmscapes, it is home to a vibrant community of local and foreign residents who love the simple laid-back life that the island provides.

Surf spots

There is one spot right in front of the resort, but it’s not always possible to teach / surf there. There are 10 different surf spots around which may be used depending on the conditions, season, and the student’s level.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Sayak Airport (IAO). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Harana Surf Resort will pick you up from the airport.

You can get to Siargao Island through plane from Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) in the City of Cebu. Cebu Pacific is the only airline to fly to the island, but has a flight every day on most times of the year. At certain times of the year, they have two flights a day. The flight from Cebu takes about 50 minutes to arrive at Sayak Airport (IAO). Fly with Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines from Cebu. If you are coming from Manila, you would need to book a flight to Cebu and connect a flight to Siargao from there. Take Cebu Pacific or SkyJet flight from Manila.

Arrival by ferry / boat

You may choose to get to Siargao Island via sea. If that is the case, your port of entry would be via Surigao City boat port. So you can fly to anywhere in Mindanao Mainland and take a bus to Surigao City. From there, you can hop on a boat to get to the island. Many of the boats get easily booked so you have to get there at least one hour before departure time.

Take a ferry from Surigao City to Dapa town in Siargao. If you miss the boats to Dapa, you may get lucky and get another boat to a neighboring city. Take note if you are planning on taking this sea route from Manila, you would need to spend a night on Surigao as the last boat to Siargao leaves right as your plane arrives.

Airport: Sayak Airport[1] (Siargao Airport) Airport transfer included: Sayak Airport[1] (Siargao Airport) No additional charges. You can request this in the next step.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
