I can only recommend this place. We stayed with two kids (2 and 8 years) and enjoyed the stay enormously. Hassan is a calm and extremely helpful host who knows exactly what independent tourists need. He arranged everything from picking us up in the jetty, getting a kayak, a sup, snorkel and turtle watching. The food was marvellous and Hassan's stories about Maldives were an excellent addition during dinners.

Happy Life is such a great place at the local Island Dhiffushi. We really had a good time here. Hassan is such a great host, we booked a lot of activities with him such as local Big Game fishing and turtle snorkeling. I caught a Sailfish by hand!!!! this was the ultimative experience and snorkeling with turtles and sharkes was just beautful and also a great experience. We also saw dolphins when we went for snorkeling, it was a school of at least 100 dolphins!!! The rooms are nice and comfortable, we could not ask for more comfort. You can swim free at the privat beach (Bikinis are allowed here), its also nice to snorkel right here, i saw a big sting ray and a lot of colorful fish. Please book the full package, they serve such great food, always the best fresh fish for lunch and dinner with plenty of typical Maledivian side dishes. Breakfast is also fine, egg and vegetarian sides. Tea and water was included. Dhiffushi is a very small and friendly island, the locals are a bit sceptical but very very friendly! Its new for them to share their island with tourists since the rules changed for tourism on local islands this year. Be aware that there is no alcohol allowed at the local islands.
