The Nicaragua surf camp has six bedrooms, a large living room, small public bathroom, and kitchen/bar area, with a large outdoor common area for hanging out. Most rooms are double occupancy with two beds. Every room is equipped with air conditioning, a fan, and a private bathroom. At normal full capacity, we can accommodate 10 surfers, but even more with special arrangement. We have a bar on site, as well as a ping pong/beer pong table, Foosball table, a massage table and masseuse available, and hammocks galore in which to relax and take in a gorgeous sunset after a hard day of surfing. We have Wi-Fi and a library of books, and board games available.
Program
This beginner surf tour will consist of the following:
Surfboard use
Softer, beginner breaks at Playa Amarillo which absolutely suitable for beginner surf lessons and practice
Transportation by truck (twice daily) to surf spot plus one surf boat tour at the end of your week. Boat only available March - December.
Daily lesson and surf session with one of our English first language coaches
Practice session after lunch with guide for safety and take-off tips
Little surfer extra lesson, video analysis and limited high-season are available with extra cost.
Location
Giant's Foot Surf Tours are located in a fairly isolated area near the Rancho Santana and Hacienda Iguana developments, right on the beach in beautiful Playa Gigante.
Food
Three delectable, well-balanced meals are served camp-style daily, as well as dawn patrol cereal and coffee. You will also be having one or two dinners per week at local restaurants.
The meals are all homemade and delicious. No matter how consistent the surf is during the surf season in Nicaragua, Giant’s Foot Surf Tours knows that they can’t control nature. What they can control is the quality of the food that awaits you when you get back from your sessions.
All you can drink
All local beer and rum beverages are included in the price of your surf tour as well as sodas. Giant’s Foot Surf Tours does not limit your beers to a certain number per day, in fact, if you manage to drink the beer fridge dry, Giant’s Foot Surf Tours will make a special trip into town to refill the stock.
Giant’s Foot Surf Tours can cater to the dietary requirements of vegetarians and is gluten-free.
