"As a travel professional, myself, I needed an assist with my first small group tour to New Zealand and reached out to First Light Travel for help. From the very first email, they were nothing but delightful and professional. When there were some issues at one of the hotels, they responded immediately and set things straight. They were more than willing to include as many of my personal wishes as made sense with the time we had to spend and also worked within a budget that was comfortable enough to sell the trip well. While this was my first time leading a tour to New Zealand, it will definitely not be my last and I will use First Light Travel again without hesitation! Thanks for helping me provide my clients with the trip of a lifetime! Troy Marden"

"We were truly blessed to have Jo Taylor handle our arrangements, because there is so much about New Zealand that we didn't know. Add to that the earthquake, and we really felt fortunate to have all of our changes made by a professional person, in short order. Another benefit relates to the attractions and lodgings matching or surpassing our expectations. We went on a glow-worm tour by Waitamo, where we were the only customers on the tour. The guide had worked at the larger place, and his family started their own company to provide more personal service. To add even more to that, the farm that we stayed at had their own glow-worm site, where we walked down a short path, to see them on our own. We had a marvelous time, with the great beauty of New Zealand, the warmth and friendliness of the Kiwis, and having so many details sorted out by Jo. Thanks so much for all that you did!!"

"Hi Shelley, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the most wonderful amazing holiday in New Zealand. All our accommodation was excellent and the most wonderful congenial hosts at Blue Thistle Cottages were unbelievable. We found every New Zealander we met so friendly. In fact, on arrival in Christchurch, we asked the lady at the Colombo street apartments to recommend somewhere we could go for dinner and she suggested the Speight pub a few blocks away. Whilst walking there, we got drenched in a downpour. On arrival, the Maitre dried our shoes by the big open fire, prepared a wonderful meal, then got one of his staff to drive us home as it was still raining! How is that for hospitality! We only had one rainy day and that was our last day in Dunedin other than that perfect sunny days. The helicopter flight and landing blew us away, as did the Eco Tour at Wanaka (where Chris, the guide, had a relic thigh bone of a Moa that he had found), the Jet boat and Rainforest tour of the Dart River were fabulous, the Onsen Hot pools in Queenstown were so beautiful and relaxing, the Glow Worm caves at Te Anau were amazing and we all loved the trip to Milford and the Cruise , especially David, who wanted to see avalanches, snow, high mountains - he saw a lot! We were amazed at the "value for money" of our trip and will definitely be recommending you to our friends. The scenery for the whole of the South island was just so beautiful. Many many thanks for a wonderful holiday, hugs."
