You will not only feel fresher by the classes but also have the joyous, unique experience of living so close to an Ecuadorian beach. It is a place like nowhere else in the world with so little influx of visitors, so do not miss this chance of an amazing holiday!
You will stay in a private cabin with balcony, ocean view, and private bathroom with hot water shower at Finca Punta Ayampe. It is a natural paradise set in a peaceful tropical forest hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean (only 190 meters / 600 feet off the beach) where you may well witness the spectacular views of the immense sea, the white long sandy beach, and the mystical Islet of Los Ahorcados. Finca has the best view of Ayampe because it is located on a hill facing the sea, for this reason, there are many stairs to reach the rooms and common areas.
This retreat will take place in Ayampe, Ecuador. Ecuador is a magical region, bathed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean, where from north to south, in its beautiful beaches, the surfer lifestyle is breathed and lived.
The surfing route is made up of about a dozen of exciting beaches along the Spondylus route. There are more than 560 miles of beaches on the Ecuadorian coast where one can find specific locations to practice, like in the Enchanted Islands, Galapagos (in San Cristobal and Santa Cruz Islands specifically).
Ecuadorian beaches are ideal for windsurfers because it has unique, unspoiled beaches and hidden paradises enjoying little influx of visitors and the best waves in the world.
The beach stretches eight kilometers linking the towns of Ayampe to Puerto Rico. Although at high tide, in some areas there is not much room to walk on the beach, is at low tide when you might appreciate the true vastness of this beach, ideal for walking and/or jogging. Ayampe has a long, virgin, unexploited and unexplored beach that invites you to travel freely through its natural beauty.
Going down to the beach from the hotel, on your left-hand, you find the rocky point that is named after the town that sits near, Ayampe. This is a volcanic rock area where you can explore countless of formations. At low tide, puddles formed little pools where you can immerse for hours cooling from the heat of this tropical beach.
If you turn to your right-hand, and walk about 15 minutes you will discover Ayampe’s river mouth to the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by mangroves, this estuary offers an outstanding, natural and odd landscape. In rainy season, the river flows clearly into whereas in the dry season it becomes a calm sanctuary for seabirds like pelicans, frigates, cormorants, gulls, herons, and others.
