Aside from kitesurfing, Echo Flow Yoga has amazing yoga practices daily to participate in and dive into your practice. The yoga teacher will guide both your experience on the yoga mat and on the kitesurfing board.
You will be staying in a wooden cabana at Vayu Resort, Adam’s Bridge, Talaimannar, Mannar, Sri Lanka. Each cabana / bungalow consists of an attached open-air washroom and private verandah overlooking kiting spots, nature, and amazing sunset. Vayu Resort also offers deluxe tents as well.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200
Echo has two 200-hour RYT training certifications with a total of 400 RYT training, and hundreds of hours of teaching under her belt. Her background began with Hatha, Vinyasa, and Power yoga. It evolved into Yin, Restorative, Sivananda, and most recently training under Baron Baptiste mentors. Like progression, her practice evolves as she does but most of her teachings are quite fluid. She focuses on alignment, breath, and flow. She tries her best to create organic movement in her individual practice as well as the practice she shares with her community.
This retreat will take place at Vayu Resort, based in Adam’s Bridge, Talaimannar, Mannar, Sri Lanka. Vayu Resort is surrounded by a lot of history and folklore area, as well as the nesting ground for numerous migratory birds. It is one of the most amazing kitesurfing destinations in Sri Lanka.
Adam’s Bridge, also known as Rama’s Bridge, is a chain of limestone shoals, between Rameswaram Island, off the southeastern coast of Tamil Nadu, India, and Mannar Island, off the northwestern coast of Sri Lanka. Miles of flat water, as well as wavy condition surrounding Adam’s Bridge, are perfect for kitesurfing.
Mannar Island is influenced by both Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine. You will be served with a mix of both western and local dishes including local favorites such as crab curry, fresh tandoori fish, rotti, and pittu to the menu. Fresh vegetables and fruits will be served as well. As for yogic diet, Echo Flow Yoga caters to vegetarian, vegan, and sattvic diets as well.
