You will stay at various accommodations including Windtown in Cumbuco, Pousada Vila Marola in Taíba, Pousada Vila Vagalume in Guajiru, and Pousada Villa Mango in Tutoia. E-Group select small hotels or pousadas that are unique, beautiful, and full of local character. The accommodations are based on double rooms. It means that you will be paired up with someone but it will all work out.

Windtown Beach Hotel

Windtown Beach Hotel offers oceanfront accommodation in this kitesurfers’ paradise, in the northeast of Brazil. With more than 3000-sun-hours year-round and reliable strong winds almost year-round, this is the place to have your well-deserved kite trip or laid-back beach holiday.

Pousada Vila Marola

Vila Marola is not only a place of rest for the whole family but also a great hotel for kitesurfing amateurs. The hotel, established for kitesurfing amateurs, is located in a particularly attractive place. Both, the beginners and the professionals of kitesurfers will find appropriate conditions for them. The beginners have a possibility to learn kitesurfing in a lagoon, which is 1.5 kilometers away from the hotel, while the advanced kitesurfing amateurs and professionals can practice kitesurfing near the hotel.

There are 24 superior deluxe suites and four superior deluxe studios in eight little houses (bungalows). Every room has a separate entry. In all suits, you will find facilities including air conditioner, safe, bar-refrigerator, Wi-Fi, set of towels (body, face, and swimming pool). The rooms are set up on two floors; they are very spacious and comfortable-suitable for those who like the luxury or come for holiday with friends or family. There are Jacuzzi baths in all four studios. All of the beds are king size.

Pousada Vila Vagalume

Located in Trairi in the region of Ceará, 3.2 kilometers from Flecheiras, Vila Vagalume features a terrace and views of the sea. You can enjoy the on-site bar. Every room at this guesthouse is air-conditioned and features a TV. Certain rooms have views of the pool or garden. The rooms come with a private bathroom.

Pousada Villa Mango

With a rustic architecture, combining comfort and charm, Villa Mango provides total integration and harmony with nature. Villa Mango bungalows are built with certified wood and eucalyptus trees from a reforestation program which is set on stilts, designed to provide a natural wind flow.

How it works

The day before the journey begins, E-Group do a test to evaluate whether the kiter is ready for the downwind and to analyze the conditions and the equipment.

There is a briefing given every morning by the team captain, where you are given a clear vision of the expedition: objectives, the beauty, and the dangers. The support vehicles follow the group whenever possible (where access is not possible, there will be guides in the water to help).

Some strategic stopping points have been organized, where the car will stop and wait with you to hydrate yourself with healthy foods and beverages, as well as refresh your mind for the kiting ahead.

Guilly Brandão

This surf camp will take you to several different locations in Brazil, starting from Cumbuco, Taíba, all the way to Guajiru, and Tutoia.

Brazil is a very large, incredibly diverse and vibrant country. It’s just about as large as the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii, and has a population of more than 200 million. You can find all types of landscapes in Brazil, and the population has a history in indigenous people as well as immigrants from Africa, Europe, and Asia, resulting in a very diverse and cosmopolitan culture.

Wave condition

In the north, it is hard to find really good long peeling waves. The best waves are at river mouths and sandy points. There are a few spots but in general, you should not come to the north of Brazil with the expectation of riding tons of perfect waves. That said, if there is some swell in the water, certain spots at river mouths, sandbars and points can produce some fun stuff!

During this surf camp, you will be served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotels and lunches will be served during activities. The lunch consists of sandwiches, fruit, water, cereal bars, and ice. The hotels will give you a welcome drink each time you check-in and provide you with water, beer, isotonic drinks, Red Bull, and caipirinhas. Please kindly tell E-Group in advance if you have other dietary requirements so that they can inform the hotels. You can eat at an upscale restaurant and pay 100 - 150 BRL (30 - 50 USD) or you can eat at a local restaurant and pay around 20 BRL (7 USD).
