Day 1
You meet at the beach late afternoon (they are trying to plan so you can join at the time of arrival.) You start with some theory before you go on the water to practice. The instructor will give you feedback on the water. The aim is to move you to the next level within the dynamic windsurfing education system. Thanks to the modular gear, Dynamic Windsurfing will ensure you always have an appropriate board shape and sail size for the prevailing condition and your sailing abilities.
Day 2
You head to the beach, where you discuss yesterday's experience before you head out for a second day of practice. If there is an interest, you'll go to Estepona (or Marbella) for dinner and nightlife.
Day 3
Beginners are now moving up to XL-level; at higher levels, you may be challenged with some more demanding gear or techniques this day, to improve at the next level.
Day 4
If the overall windsurfing conditions during the camp are good, you stay in Atalaya Park for windsurfing on this day. Otherwise, you may catch up with a full day of windsurfing in Tarifa, leaving with your car and gear in the morning.
Day 5
You start windsurfing in the morning to make it possible to pick a flight in the afternoon or evening. Besides giving you an amazing time with a lot of windsurfing practice, Dynamic Windsurfing has fed you with the theory on how you should do things, making it much easier for you in your future practice on your own, to move in the right direction.
The Surf Spot:
The Atalaya beach for your camp is carefully hand-picked by Dynamic Windsurfing. The bay offers good wind conditions in standard directions, the bay also gives increased security from drifting ashore. The seasoned sailor can enjoy areas of shore breaks for jumping and wave riding while the launching area is not radical making it easier for the inexperienced windsurfer to get out from the beach. Some days it is also possible to do regular surfing/bodyboarding.
Please note that local people and tourists can also join one or several of the classes. The camps/classes are generally in small groups (1-6) to ensure the high quality and safety of the education.
The wind is often more stable in the afternoon, so most of the days you will be windsurfing in the afternoons.
