Debbie Zec
Debbie Zec is the owner and instructor of Dominical Surf School. She was born and raised in Dominical Beach, Costa Rica. She's 27 years old and has been in the ocean bodyboarding and surfing for as long as she can remember. She started working for other companies when she was 14 years old and since then, she has taught over 5000 people. When she turned 17, she decided to open her own surf school-camp because it would be the best way to extend her knowledge to anyone interested in learning about surfing.

This surf camp will take place in Dominical main street, 50 west from Diuwak Hotel in the direction to the beach, Costa Rica. Dominical beach is located between Quepos and Uvita, on the south pacific coast of Costa Rica. It’s about 3 hours away from Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) airport and 25 minutes from Quepos La Managua Airport (XQP). Warm water, world class waves, delicious fresh food, its scenery, easy access, and excellent prices are some of the characteristics that make this location a surfer’s paradise. This area is a must stop for many tourists and especially for surfers from all over the world.

The town offers everything you will need to fully enjoy your stay, such as several internet cafes, restaurants, shops, bars, a bank, ATM, a medical facility, and supermarkets, needless to say, that there is free Wi-Fi almost everywhere you go. There are as well, a wide array of options for accommodation that will meet the expectations of even the most exigent hedonists and at the same time can meet the pocket of travelers who are limited to a small budget. To maintain an environmentally sound atmosphere, this exotic beach has been honored on several occasions with the ecological “Blue Flag” which assures that it is an ecological friendly town.

Dominical is also very well known for its consistent waves, mellow atmosphere, friendly and helpful people, as well as many other activities that you can do while you visit this small paradise. To mention a few: hiking, waterfall canyoning, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, horseback riding, bird watching, rafting, kayaking, and SUP yoga are some of the most popular things to do around here besides surfing.
