The apartment is located in San Carles de la Rápita and at a very short distance from the spots for greater comfort and displacement of students. Daily schedule

From 09:00 until 20:00, Deltakitesup is available if you want to do the kitesurfing activity. The students will be in contact with the center and when they arrive at their destination. Deltakitesup will offer information on when it is best to carry out the activity within the established time.

About the kitesurfing course

All the courses are designed so that you can take them in phases. Your certified instructor will advise you which are the best options so that you have fast, safe and fun learning.

Level 1: Initiation

Evaluation of the place and the environment for the practice of kite flying and its activity (Spot, Environment, Activity)
Handling, assembly, transport, and placement of a kite in the practice area
Prepare and configure the kite for your flight, different possibilities depending on conditions

Pre-flight checks and checks, pre-flight simulation

Practices and tests

International kitesurf card

At the end of the course, you will get your international kitesurfing card, what is this? Well, basically, anywhere by presenting this card, you can rent material as it proves that you have taken the course at an IKO Certified School (International Kiteboarding Organization). This seems fundamental in Deltakitesup. Remember there are many kitesurf schools in the Ebro Delta, but Deltakitesup makes a difference.

Trabucador Beach

Trabucador Beach is located in Sant Carles de la Rápita (Tarragona) and has an approximate length of 6.5 kilometers. It is a spot of kite great for practicing water sports, especially for learning and progression kiteboarding.

Kitesurfing on Trabucador Beach is perfect as it allows navigation on both sides. Being a sand bar on one side, you have the beach and on the other side the so-called bay of the Alfacs (Alfaques), an inhospitable place with clear waters, in a virgin state, where there are a multitude of species, aquatic birds, birds of prey, the most emblematic and sympathetic being the flamingos, it is a paradise for bird watchers.

On Trabucador Beach, you can practice kitesurfing all year round without restriction, with designated areas for beginners and schools. It is considered one of the easiest beaches for learning to kitesurf because in a good part of the interior lagoon there is no depth and as a result it facilitates the learning of the beginner, providing a lot of security and confidence to the student.

Riumar Beach

Riumar Beach is located on the left side of the Ebro River about 18 kilometers from the Trabucador kitesurf spot in an urbanized but well-kept area. It belongs to the municipality of Deltebre within the province of (Tarragona) and is located 10 kilometers from this town, has a length of 2.6 kilometers, and is 150 meters wide.

There are several beach bars near the beach linked by large wooden walkways that protect the natural sand dunes. At the end of the kitesurfing session in Riumar, it is perfect to rest and discuss the typical things of the Kiters, have a drink, or even eat.
