Whale Watching

Every year, from June to September, humpback whales mate along the coastline of Ecuador. In this tour, you'll jump on a boat and see the whales in their natural habitat. It's not uncommon to watch them jump out of the water, you'll get very close in a spectacular experience.

Horseback riding

Enjoy the beach while riding on a horse. It's relaxing, beautiful, and can be done anytime, any day of the year. You'll also ride parts of the river and forest of Ayampe. Your tour guide is a native of Ayampe and has a vast knowledge of the mountains and river.

Ayampe is located in Baja Manabi region of Ecuador. Ayampe can be found in the middle of the Ecuadorian coast at 86 kilometres along the famous Route of the Sun (Ruta del Sol). Ayampe is the last humid tropical forest remaining next to the sea in South America. Home to the widest variety of birds and amazing flora, Ayampe is the perfect place to relax and sightsee.

This part of the Ecuadorian coastline has outstanding landscapes and an undisturbed tranquillity. Ayampe is known for the infamous rock formation “Los Ahorcados” which hosts some of the most beautiful sunsets in the Pacific Ocean. Ayampe's biodiversity is heaven for those searching for serenity and rest.

Ayampe Guest House is Located in front of the beach and in the middle of the town.
