Thinking of spending the weekend camping on the beach? Australian Surf Tours is inviting you to a real Aussie adventure, by mixing the passion of surfing and nature together. You will be taken to one of New South Wales' most beautiful surfing spot and camp under the stars surrounded by wildlife and nature. Also, you will get to learn the practical skills and theoretical knowledge that are needed to surf confidently.

Since this is a surfing camp, you will be camping in the Conjola National Park that is surrounded by nature and wildlife at Bendalong. You will be provided with specially made, comfortable camping beds and all beddings, including sleeping bags, to make your camping experience feel like sleeping in a hotel.
Programm
During the camp, there will be two hours of surfing lessons daily, along with other excursion trips and activities.
Day 1 - Friday
- 17:00 Depart Sydney from the pickup point
- 21:00 Arrive at the camp at Bendalong; greeted by a hot evening meal, along with an introduction to the camp and the area
Day 2 - Saturday
- 07:30 Wake up and have breakfast
- 09:00 Go for the first two-hour surfing lesson
- 11:00 Return from the first surfing lesson then head down to the boat ramp to feed giant stingrays and discover wildlife
- 12:30 Lunch will be served
- 14:00 Go for the second two-hour surfing lesson
- 16:00 Return from the second surfing lesson
- 18:00 Dinner is served; spend the evening to chill, view photos from the day, and campfire on the beach (depends on the weather)
Day 3 - Sunday
- 07:00 Wake up and have breakfast
- 08:00 Go for the first two-hour surfing lesson
- 10:00 Return from first surfing lesson
- 10:30 Discover the local area, chill out, swim in rock pools, and feed the kangaroos
- 12:00 Lunch is served
- 13:00 Go for the second two-hour surfing lesson
- 15:00 Return from the second surfing lesson
- 16:00 Depart Bendalong and head back to Sydney
- 19:00 Arrive back in Sydney

Besides surfing, there are also other excursions and activities as well. For instance, you can head down to the boat ramp to feed giant stingrays, discover the wildlife, colorful birds, and feed the kangaroos. Moreover, you can also explore the local area, chill out, or swim in the rock pools. There will also be a campfire night on the beach, depending on the weather.
Lage
You will be taken to a beautiful place in New South Wales, South Coast in the region of Shoalhaven. It is approximately 220 kilometers South of Sydney and three hours drive. The surf camp is located in a small coastal village called Bendalong, it is a popular tourist attraction and a suitable place to take a quiet break from the city.
The area has six amazing beaches all facing in different directions, which makes it a great place to find perfect conditions to learn surfing on any day. The three sides of the surf camp are surrounded by water as it is stuck out on a peninsula and another side is by the Conjola National Park, which provides a great wildlife interaction. Therefore, you wouldn't need to visit the Sea World and Australia Zoo since you will get see everything you in this area. At certain times of the year, this place is perfect to watch the annual Humpback Whale migration with whales passing only meters away from the point.

During the camp, you will be served with two breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners, and snacks. If you have any special diets, it can be catered for you as well.

Anreise
Directions from Central Sydney YHA
The bus will leave at 5 p.m. on Friday afternoon from Central Sydney and return back to Sydney around 7 p.m. on Sunday. The pick-up and drop-off point are outside of the Sydney Central YHA, at the Corner of Pitt Street and Rawson Place.
Transport to the camp is completely free, the camp price is still the same whether you are driving yourself or following the provided transport. It is a late model mini buses with air-conditioned. There are luggage trailers, so you can bring your entire luggage and even your own surfing board if you have one.
