Following the briefing on your first day, you'll be able to get the right gear depending on weather conditions and just go have fun while improving your Kiteboarding skills.
Location
Dakhla Kitesurf World overlooks the lagoon and is situated 250 meters from the water. The area offers the greatest kiting conditions with 15 to 25 knots all year round and 30 kilometers of flat water.
Dakhla Kitesurf World organizes kiteboarding excursions to explore other spots. Surfing excursions can also be arranged and that’s a good idea especially when there is no wind.

Throughout the duration of this retreat, you will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner from fresh local produce. Dakhla Kitesurf World will make you a variety of delicious Moroccan and international dishes.
The restaurant
Treat yourself to delicious authentic cuisine and experience new tastes and smells while enjoying the stunning view of the lagoon and sand dunes. The chef will make sure that you enjoy every bite of our specialties, but he is known to be flexible and pays special attention to guests’ requests as to specific dietary requirements.

Special events
Dakhla Kitesurf World organizes theme dinners or gatherings to entertain you and get you to experience the local culture. All you have to do is to show up and have a good time. Tea is more than just tea and you’ll understand once you experience this cultural ritual. Dakhla Kitesurf World has set up Berber tents to bring a dash of authenticity to the teatime and you are welcome to join.

Wind or not, Dakhla Kitesurf World has you covered! Here is a preview of things to do. It would be hard to get you out of the water on windy days, but sightseeing and exploring Dakhla is definitely worthwhile.
Sightseeing tours
Dakhla’s sceneries are absolutely stunning and the only proper way to explore them is to get you in a four by four. You can choose from half day, full day or more personalized tours based on sites of interest.
Downwinds
This is only a great way to practice your Kiteboarding skills while exploring more the best spots for downwinds. Even though a guide will be assigned, you should be able to Kitesurf on your own in order to sign up for downwinds.
Kiteboarding trips:
You can go Kiteboarding in other spots by booking one of our Kiteboarding trips, flat water or waves depending on your skills. Unlike downwinds, this trip can be booked even if you're still learning (your instructor will go with you once you book the trip).
Fishing:
This might also be the thing to do in a no-wind day. There are many sites to choose from and not only you'll be fishing but exploring Dakhla and surroundings. You'll find everything you need to know in our brochure.
Sailing
Another way to explore Dakhla’s lagoon is to go sailing. Choose to be active by taking the helm and raising the sails, or relax in the cockpit, front deck, or trampoline. Depending on the wind, tides, and where the groups want to go, you can visit the island (anchor nearby, explore the island, and swim) or visit a dune, or spend your time sailing and looking for dolphins, flamingos, and other local wildlife.
