Lagoon Villa Apartments
The villa is split into three apartments including two separate stylish self-catering apartments for rent, with a maximum occupancy of seven for rental (Seahorse and Octopus) and the UK owners’ apartment, who are happy to assist you during your holiday. It is in the perfect location as it's only a three-minute walk from the sandy beach and 10-15 minutes walk from the kitesurfing lagoon (complimentary shuttle boat available), and diving lagoon. It has an outdoor Jacuzzi pool (seasonal) and beautiful grassy gardens with comfy sun loungers and bean bags.
The Jacuzzi pool is heated by the sun, so if you wish to enjoy sitting in the pool, it's best to come March until October. In May to September, the pool is over 30 degrees. The Lagoon Villa Apartments are equipped with high-quality furnishings to make your holiday comfortable and relaxing.
The Seahorse Apartment
This bright and airy apartment sleeps two to three people. The apartment includes a king-sized bed (160 centimeters wide) and a single bed with continental comfort pillows, mattress toppers, and Egyptian cotton sheets and towels. It is newly furnished with large en-suite luxury bathroom with spa bath, separate shower, and WC.
The apartment is also equipped with quiet air conditioning, a beautiful south-facing sunny terrace overlooking the lush grassy garden, complimentary Wi-Fi, and the Jacuzzi pool view. There is outdoor furniture and barbecue facilities. It also has a black granite topped kitchen with fridge / freezer, toaster, kettle, Lavazza espresso machine, cooking utensils, two hobs (ceramic), a microwave oven, and a dining table.
The Octopus Apartment
This spacious, modern two-bedroom apartment sleeps four people comfortably. The master bedroom has a large king-sized bed (160 centimeters wide) and a sofa bed, plus there is a separate twin bedroom with direct access to the garden. Both rooms have continental comfort pillows, mattress toppers, and Egyptian cotton sheets and towels.
The apartment is newly furnished with quiet air conditioning in both bedrooms. It has a private sunny terrace with outdoor patio furniture, complimentary Wi-Fi, large secluded garden with access to the Jacuzzi pool, barbecue facilities, and a separate kitchen with large fridge / freezer, toaster, kettle, Lavazza espresso machine, cooking utensils, a microwave oven and two hobs.
Tea towels and washing up liquid are also provided. The kitchen is reached via the master bedroom. The bathroom is interconnecting with a waterfall shower and WC.
Program
Kitesurfing
The lessons will take place in the kite lagoon. Located to the left of the windsurf lagoon, there is a shallow flat water lagoon (500 meters per 300 meters). The area has perfect learning conditions for beginners as the instructor can stand next to you. Lessons are planned around the tides and wind. This will take place at a German owned centre with very nice staff and instructors to help you make the most of your holiday.
Location
The Lagoon Villa apartments are only a three-minute walk from the main sandy beach. From there, there is a complimentary boat to the kite lagoon or you can walk there in 10-15 minutes. The instruction will take place in the kite lagoon.
Dahab is only 90 kilometers away (North of Sharm El Sheik) on the east coast of the Sinai Peninsula. With over 280 days of wind over four Beaufort a year and warm water all year round, it means Dahab is one of the best places to learn to kitesurf in the world. The kite lagoon is suitable for beginner or intermediate kitesurfers. Advanced kitesurfers can go outside of the lagoon area and kite downwind of the windsurfers (off-shore winds so rescue cover via walkie-talkie radios is essential).
Egypt is also rich in historical places of interest. You will be spoiled with the choice for day trips and things to do in Dahab and the surrounding area including glass-bottom boat trips, wakeboarding / waterskiing, dinner in the mountains, horse riding and quad biking (please ensure your holiday insurance covers the activities you wish to do).

The accommodations are self-catering apartments. The supermarket is opposite so stocking up is easy. There will be a complimentary starter pack of essentials including tea, coffee, water, milk, bread, butter, eggs, jam, and washing up liquid in your apartment on arrival. Any special requests can be added to the starter pack - just let Dahab Holidays know what you would like.
You can dine at any of the hotels on the beach (only 6 EUR for a five-star breakfast and lunch starting from 3 EUR), or the main restaurant area is in the local town three kilometers away (1 EUR in a taxi).
The restaurants are fabulous and it is very cheap to eat out if you do not wish to cook (Steak, fish, Indian, Italian, Mexican, Chinese and lovely local places too serving dips and hot bread with local specialties such as kofta or meatballs and meat). Vegetarians and vegans have tasty options too. A few restaurants also offer free home delivery.

Things to do (optional)
Mount Sinai and Saint Catherine's Monastery are only a short drive from Dahab. Watch the sunrise from the top of Mount Sinai and feel on top of the world. The monastery is a fourth-century Greek orthodox monastery home to the burning bush and the Well of Moses.

Please book your flight to arrive at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH). Sharm El Sheikh is only one hour fifteen mins away from Dahab. Dahab Holidays can organize transfers from the airport with a local reliable driver for an additional cost.
If you decide to take this option, you will be met with a personalized arrival sign with your name on it. The driver will have an air-conditioned minibus with seat belts and plenty of space for kite equipment if you bring your own. The cost for one to three people in a minibus is 40 EUR each way. For four to eight people in a minibus, the cost is 50 EUR each way. For nine to twelve people in a minibus, the cost is 60 EUR each way.
