If you want a retreat to escape, renew yourself, and reveal the true you, join this all-women retreat at Gokceada island! This is your week by the Aegean sea to relax and revive. Crazy Island Center has created an effective program balanced between sports and relaxation: windsurf, kitesurf, SUP yoga, and light homemade fresh food.
During this holiday, you will stay in wooden chalets with private bathrooms and a terrace, surrounded by nature right by the beach. You can choose between sharing a room with a friend or being completely on your own.
Crazy Island Center offers accommodation on the beach, 8 nice wooden lodges with a modern cozy interior, and 4 glamping tents. Each bungalow is equipped with air-conditioning, a private bathroom, towels, and a balcony. All lodges are nested in a beautiful garden. The glamping tents are 4 meters in diameter and 2.5 meters high with a cozy interior and comfortable beds arranged for 2 guests.
The tent guests need to use a shared bathroom. They have a restaurant, private parking, a kite/windsurf station, and a beach bar. Wi-Fi is available in most areas. Breakfast is included. Being surfers themselves, they tried to develop the best surfing accommodation in Gokceada. It is on the spot and the price of your room is included kite/windsurf equipment storage at the station right in front.
Crazy Island Center will welcome you in their complex of 8 wooden chalets nested in a beautiful garden right by the beach. You can choose between sharing a room with a friend or being completely on your own. You will get delicious, but light food, as detox is a crucial part of the program. Cleaning your body works to lose weight, energize yourself, gain better health, and look even brighter.
The menu is based on seasonal vegetables, fruits, fresh fish, and locally produced island specialties like honey and olive oil.

Three times during your stay, you will get a special face massage. Crazy Island uses only freshly squeezed and extracted plants and oils. You can expect fresh peaches, cucumbers, olives, aloe, olive oil, grape seed oil, organic honey, natural mineral mud, and much more.
Crazy Island Center will meet you at Istanbul airport upon your arrival. They also offer daily transfers to each part of the island at an additional cost.
Dolly is one of the founders of Crazy Island Center. She is an experienced kitesurfer, with over 10 years of experience in kitesurfing and teaching. She is also a certified yoga instructor. Coming from Bulgaria, she is fluent in Bulgarian and English.
Tina is an experienced windsurfer, and a windsurf and Pilates instructor. She is one of the founders at Crazy Island School. Coming from Bulgaria, she is fluent in Bulgarian, English, Turkish, and Russian. She is also a photographer and a designer
Simeon is an ex snowboard cross competitor, experienced and devoted windsurfer and windsurf coach, with 20 years of experience in windsurfing and over 10 years experience in coaching. He is the founder of Crazy Island School. Coming from Bulgaria, he is fluent in Bulgarian and English.
Crazy Island Center is located on Gokceada island, Aegean Sea, Turkey. The wind is North-East. This is the same well-known Meltemi that works in all the islands in the Aegean. The wind in Gokceada is accelerated by thermal and venturi effects. During the summer there is a constant wind of 22 to 25 knots in the morning, which slowly falls to 6-12 knots in the late afternoon. Fronts come with strong winds around 28-35 knots or stronger.
There are 2 main spots in Gokceada island with mirror flat water (off-shore wind) and spot with waves up to 1.5-2 meters (on shore, side onshore). The active season in Gokceada is from May to October. From June to mid-September wet suit is not necessary. At the beginning of May and in October long 3/4/5mm wet suit is recommended as the water is chilly, after mid-May and the second half of September shorty or 1-2 mm wet suit is okay.
Getting to Gokceada island is easy. You can get here by car and or by plane. The island is located in the Aegean sea across the Dardanelles. Gokceada is only 17 miles (31 kilometers) from the mainland and takes about one and a half hours to get on the island with a ferry from Kabatepe port. During the summer the ferries are at every 2 hours.
It is the largest island in Turkey, part of Canakkale province. The island is with an area of 279 square kilometers, located across the Dardanelles. Gokceada island is a part of Cittaslow town's international network. Cittaslow towns aim to be great places to live, work, and visit. The main source of income is agriculture, tourism, and fishing.

The garden restaurant with a sea view offers fresh fish every day. You can find Sea bream, Sea bass, Red mullet, Tuna fish, Swordfish, John Dory, squids, octopus, and shrimp. They offer different appetizers and fresh salads, pasta, and more from Mediterranean and traditional cuisine and a selection of good wines. The products used like meat, vegetables, olive oil, and more are locally grown on the island or in the region of Canakkale.

Please book your flight to arrive at Istanbul New Airport (ISL). Airport transfer is available at an extra cost of 140 EUR per car (up to 3 people).
You can get to Gokceada by traveling through Greece or Bulgaria. Through Greece, Gokceada is 170 kilometers far from the Greek/Turkish border. The distance from Ipsala (the town at the border) to Kabatepe port is about 140 kilometers. The road is very good most on the motorway, takes less than 2 hours.
Through Bulgaria, the distance to Gokceada from the Bulgarian/Turkish border near Edirne is 250 kilometers, the road is mostly on motorways and takes about 2 to 3 hours. If you are going to travel with a leased or company car get your authorization translated into Turkish or English. The speed limit is 130 kph on motorways, 110 kph on speedways, 90 kph on the normal road, and 50 kph in the towns.

The cost is about 9 EUR. Finding Crazy Island once you get to Gokceada, you will depart at Kuzulimani port, and follow the main road for 4 kilometers to get to Gokceda town. In the town continue to the same main road (Ataturk Blvd), through the very center of the town to the exit of the town. There is a T-crossroad at the exit, turn left to Aydincik, the beach with flat water.
Follow this road for 8 kilometers, where you will see a small village, Eselek, right after the village there is a crossroad, turn right, and after 2 kilometers on the first T-crossroad, turn left and you are at Aydincik beach. You will find the center easily. By the road is the Sarduniya complex, blue-green wooden chalets. Near the beach is Crazy Island Center. See you on the water!
