During this surf camp, you will be accommodated at Hotel Casa Azul, a beach-front hotel with kitchen, swimming pool, yoga deck, and the Blu Bistro.
For this retreat, you will get 2 hours of surfing class every day and you can choose 1 activity per day between getting a massage after surfing, going for horseback riding, paddle boarding adventure in a river or ocean, canopy above the waterfalls, quad adventure, or yoga.
Costa Rica Surf and SUP services are about to make you having fun, lessons are tailored to be relaxing so you can find your own pace to learn. You don't have to go through many lessons to experience the surfing lifestyle, they make you to live that experience in every moment, the feeling of being one with your surfboard and the ocean waves. Friends and family will find a new way to share a unique experience on surfing and supping (stand-up paddling).
This surf camp will take place in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. The scenic pueblo of Santa Teresa started out as a remote fishing village. Recently, it has blossomed into a funky hot spot with a great nightlife, excellent restaurants, and year-round waves. It has the great combination of Pacific Ocean, picturesque beaches, variety of surf breaks, and friendly locals. Forbes magazine recently named the area “One of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world.” Trip Advisor named it Traveler’s Choice Best Beach of 2011.
If you are adventurous or advanced, this is an amazing location to experience SUPing with a tropical twist. Offshore islands, hidden bays, points, and reefs are all accessible on this pristine jungle coastline. Paddle the lagoon, ride empty waves, and cruise back downwind. The slower pace gives you a chance to absorb the flora and fauna around you. Glide by rare and elusive birds, butterflies, flowers, and marine life. Stand up paddle boarding is a way to get acquainted with Costa Rican wildlife and take in views of the coastline as you would never see them from land.
