Giannina Coto

Giannina, co-founder of Costa Rica Fitness Retreats, is a very experienced fitness host and outdoor-sport-junkie. With a background of swimming competitively for over 10 years, it was inevitable that she would discover her passion for surfing and SUP. Following her guidance like running on the beach, daily fitness classes and finishing the day with junk yoga or surfing ultimately will inspire you to follow her lead. Giannina has brought in a new regime to her daily fitness program, which includes juicing and cleansing. Follow her on this adventure!

Monica Lujan

Mónica is one of the most inspiring trainers here at Costa Rica Fitness Retreats. Her personal fitness programs include training for various races such as biking, running, and triathlons. She studied to be a physical therapist and has used her knowledge of the body to incorporate her true passion - personal training. Monica is certified in Functional Training, Tacfit, and Pilates. Along with training and giving unique fitness classes, Monica is truly transformed by the ocean and all the fun water sports available here on the Pacific Coast.

Mariel Marmorato

Mariel Marmorato completed her training in Hatha yoga with her beloved teacher and guru, director of the Ananda Yoga Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mariel continued her personal education through a series of training lead by internationally recognized teachers, such as Lilian Luna, BJ Galvan, Mariela Cruz, Kenneth Graham, Matias Flury, Sienna Sherman, Noah Maze, and many more. These mentors have introduced her to other styles of yoga: Anusara, Ashtanga, Sivananda, and Kundalini yoga. In 2011, she obtains the title of Active Global Stretching Instructor, certified by Phillip Souchard.
