The wild camp is a perfect outdoor venue for those wanting a relaxing evening under the stars in a hand-crafted woodland wild campsite. Perfect for groups, they’ve purpose-built a wild camp with little hints of luxury. Hidden in the private woodlands deep in the heart of the Cornish countryside, they offer wild camping in Cornwall without all the hassle. Canvas bell tents, airbeds, and pillows are provided. Arriving at the farm, you will be welcomed by a member of the team, and Missy, the friendly farm dog. They will show you where you can park securely for the night. If you would like accommodation in a standard tent for one person, please send an inquiry.
If you have a lot of stuff, you are welcome to use the truck to help with transporting your belongings down to the woods. As the farm is a working farm, they do ask if you can take all you need for the night and to let them know if you need to return to your car. The woodland holds two separate wild camps, you will be shown to your camp where you can drop your belongings before a quick tour of the rest of the campsite. After the quick tour, you are free to do as you please. Settle into your tents, make use of the game’s areas, or get your barbecue started. It is up to you.
You are welcome to lounge around, take a walk in the woods, or simply enjoy the sound of the birds. The mornings can be a special place in the woodland and you're welcome to make the most of it. They kindly ask you to check out by 10:00 a.m. A truly unique space, the private woodland holds several secluded camping areas and shared spaces for activities, socializing, and shelter, all designed to be in keeping with the natural woodland whilst providing a comfortable space to enjoy a special evening in the outdoors. They offer true wild camping without the hassle.
Although you will have everything you need for a comfortable night under the stars, please be aware there is a composting toilet on site, and fresh water is provided for washing up, but otherwise, you will be without facilities in the peaceful countryside. They do provide water or a sink area for washing hands and a lovely composting toilet. Please note certain areas of the woodland are communal and shared with other private guests, adventure weekend participants, and groups. The wild camp is nestled in the heart of Cornwall on a live-working dairy farm. Just a short drive from Newquay and with easy access to the A30.
