Cli Surf Morocco is truly a home away from home. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome and all the staff were incredibly helpful. The surf instructors were really patient and enthusiastic, and I improved so much over the week, as did everyone else. I was a total beginner but the waves were perfect for any level. The yoga each day was also great. The class was really small and you could ask to work on what you wanted, again it was suitable for all levels. I'd highly recommend!

I stayed here for one week in May and had absolutely the best time. I booked really last minute and Larsen, the owner, was so helpful and nice, as was everyone else who worked there. I stayed in the Riad opposite which has a pool and really nice, big rooms with good showers and a lovely chill out area on the roof which people staying in the main house can use. They'll make you tea or coffee if you ask in the Riad as well.

I did yoga almost every morning and evening - the instructor was so good and let you work on what you wanted, so we did more relaxed stuff after a day of surfing and a bit more challenging things in the morning. It's a great way to help unwind the muscles after surfing so I'd recommend it.

Beach is only 5 minutes drive away, also walkable. The instructors are so good. I was a total beginner and they're really patient- everyone improved massively. You get wetsuits and boards, just bring high sunscreen.

You also get a trip to paradise valley which is gorgeous, and a big market.

FYI: there's no alcohol in any of the local villages, but you can ask the guys and they'll help you get some if you want. Agadir is worth going to for a fun night out. They give you plenty of food but there are local shops if you want snacks. Ask for more protein if you're a vegetarian. There is a cash point in the local village (driving distance) and an exchange point round the corner.

Together with my girlfriend, I spent a week in the Cli Surfcamp in Tamraght, and I can tell you, it was the absolute jackpot! Larsen and his crew really try to fulfill every wish you have and do everything to guarantee an unforgettable stay in Morocco. The food (which is cooked by Larsen's mother) is traditional and just perfect after long days of surfing. Also the camp itself is very clean and ideal for chilling out. Abdel, our surf guide, is probably the best surfer I've ever seen in my life and knows at every time, where the best waves for your level are found. Besides the surfing, we did some excursions to Paradise Valley, the souk, and other destinations, so we really saw a lot of the region and the Moroccan way of life.

All in all, it was a perfect holiday, which provided exactly the things, my girlfriend and I expected! Thank you, Larsen and team!

I have just got back from a week of yoga and surfing at Cli Surf in Morocco. I can't recommend it highly enough. It is a family run surf camp that is amazing value. We had three great meals a day - fresh fruit and vegetables, and traditional tagines. Larsen and Ella made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. They organised a trip to a hammam, the souk, and Paradise Valley. The surf instructors were great fun, incredibly patient and really good teachers - I can't believe how much I improved. They yoga studio is very special with a view out onto the sea. It was paradise!

I was blown away by the experience. It was blissful! The people, Larsen and all the young men who worked at the surf house were warm hearted and very kind. The surf lessons were awesome and the area of Morocco beautiful. I would highly recommended this place to international surfers, yogis, and travelers. Thank you! Loved it so much, I am planning another trip in May.

I had the pleasure of staying at Cli Surf on two deprecate occasions on my last trip. I stayed for four nights in my first stay before backpacking around Morocco. It was a great stay! A family run hostel, with great surf and yoga teachers. The food was cooked by the Mom of the family: traditional, hearty, home cooked food.

It is a clean, comfortable, well run establishment. I enjoyed my time there so much that I added an extra week on the end of my tour to enjoy extra time there! I would certainly recommend it to everyone!

Had an amazing experience when I was there in January this year. Larsen and the rest of the team were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nicely decorated and we got home cooked food everyday. It's a great place to stay, you get to see the real Morocco. Close to the beach and the whole place just has a very nice atmosphere. I can't wait to go back soon!

I stayed at Cli Surf camp for a bit more than a week around Christmas 2015 and I had an awesome time! Larsen has a whole team (mostly family) lined up to offer you the best possible Moroccan surf experience: Azzedine is an excellent surf teacher (by far the best out of the +-5 other surf teachers I had before). Rachid will drive you wherever you need to be and he is a good DJ as well (ask him to play Moroccon music). Larsen's mom cooks the best traditional Moroccan dishes without having to worry about Tourista and other stomach issues. Larsen himself is awesome as well. Always relaxed and willing to provide you with whatever you need. Overall, great surf trip!

Excellent for both a first surf experience and for more experienced surfers. The accommodation is a good basic Moroccan style, clean, and spacious. The food is excellent traditional Moroccan evening meals and a great large breakfast with something for everyone. You are treated as a friend and taken care of as if you were family. Days spent away from the beach at Agadir and Paradise Valley are very much recommended. Rachid drives you where you need to be and the surf instructors and guides take care of you from there. Excellent yoga classes are also available on the roof studio with incredible views on the mountains and the beach. A great way to start the day and to stretch out after a hard day surfing.

I arrived as a surf beginner, Azzadine the instructor was more than patient and took great care to ensure my safety and encourage me to 'pop up' on the board. An excellent instructor and very helpful! As a solo female traveller I was made to feel very comfortable and safe, I would really recommend this to other solo females, your safety is paramount and you could not be taken care of better. Good to cater for groups and for individuals, take a winter break, a summer break, just take a break, and enjoy the holiday!

I recently stayed with Cli Surf and all I can say is wow ... what a place! The perfect location for a surf camp regardless of where your skills are at and located next to some of the best surf breaks in the world. The staff are unbelievably friendly and accommodating, fully committed to making your stay an unforgettable experience. It is the best place to learn how to surf or develop your surfing skills and indulge in everything this part of the country has to offer. What really makes this place special are the people. It was hard to say goodbye at the end of the day but comforting to know that we will definitely be back next year.

One week in July, the first wave and the best memories we ever had. I spent with my sister a very exciting and wonderful time in Taghazout in Morocco. Yoga, surfing instructors, and amazing food make this place the only one of its kind. The rooms in Rio Mourane were tidy, comfortable, and the Moroccan style was really bewitching. The Cli team was really helpful. I recommend this place everyone who wants to taste the surfing world.

Epic surf holidays in Morocco at Cli Surf Morocco. One of the best surf experiences ever. Larsen Nice himself seems to be the surf camp manager; Rachid is the driver and the 4x4 lover. Mohamed and Azdine are the surf instructors and surf trips leaders. Meeting people from all over the world, making new friends, enjoying together the real Moroccan culture, and the local beach life which might seem nothing but still shows you the entire essential. Mind blowing. Great service, great staff, and 100% competence. So only two ways: love and live it and spread love and life, or stay away.If you're looking to learn how to surf or improve your surfing skills, then this is the right surf school in Morocco for you! The surf instructors Mohamed and Azdine are incredibly friendly, patient and very knowledgeable plus they're all fully trained lifeguards (which you should be to teach surfing) so you're always in safe hands. The variety of techniques and different teaching methods they employ mean your almost guaranteed to be standing up and riding waves, they'll get you standing were other schools have previously failed. Speaking from personal experience.

I had a fantastic stay with the Cli team. The team look after you really well and were super friendly. Lessons were great and the team would take us into town at night if we were interested in going exploring. Everything was taken care of and the food was brilliant. Would definitely go back. Thanks guys.

Wonderful experience of surfing and Morocco. Larsen, Mohammed and team were very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. We travelled in August when the surf is great for beginners. We were taken on some great excursions including Paradise Valley and the souk in Agadir which were amazing! Each day was well planned and we were definitely well fed. We had some amazing tagines and barbeques on the beach. We were also taken to different surf spots so we were not confined to one area. I would say if you want a holiday where you can meet some great people, experience Morocco without the hassle, have great food, and enjoy great beaches and surfing, this is the place to go. We really had a great time and still keep in touch with the people we met ranging from Netherlands, Russia, and Australia.

Great Moroccan surfing experience! The hostel is clean, the food was fantastic and the owner and surfing instructors were very nice. The beds were quite firm which personally I like. On days the surf was not too good they have a backup plan to go sightseeing or do other activities. I will definitely come back in the future.

Just what we wanted and more. We couldn't recommend a better surf camp than Cli Surf. Larssen, Rashid, Azdine, Fatima, and Mohammed provided a true Moroccan welcome and the hospitality was second to none. They made us one of their family. The accommodation offered spacious rooms on our own floor, deliciously fresh breakfasts, and each day great opportunities to experience Moroccan culture with visits to markets and local dinner hideaways. Our journey starts with a stress-free pick up from our bus stop at Agadir straight to the surf camp by 4x4 watching the coast go by. On the first morning we were introduced to Mohammed and Azdine, our surf instructors for the next three days. Their guidance was perfectly suited to my skill level and needs and by the end of the first day I stood which was beyond my expectations! Each morning they were sure to set us up in ideal conditions at one of the 15 surf spots along the coast. Previously we had been warned about water temperature but the mid-April sea was pleasant.A trip to Paradise valley topped it off, jumping into the lagoon on a hot day with a real Moroccan atmosphere. Experiencing Moroccan tea at a local stop off, eating fresh fish from local Moroccan cafe and watching the sunsets from the balcony at the surf camp are only a few of the many highlights we had. A really great five days with Larsson and his family. Thank you for having us.

Amazing holidays and surfing experience. I hope this review will be useful for those who never tried surfing but wants to. Once I've been such a person and I thank god that my first surfing experience was with Cli Surf Morocco! Naturally, before going there I had several concerns, such as what is the level of accommodation, food, service and, of course, surfing lessons. Well I'd tell you that none of these concerns realized in practice with Cli Surf. We lived in pretty cozy African-style suit with everything in working conditions, proper cleaning, and just across the street from the school itself. It was really good. But if we go further to the food, this was above any expectations. Traditional cuisine different every day is served for dinner, nutritious lunch was brought to the beach, and energizing breakfast was always waiting in the morning.Service is actually very unusual. It's unusual because it's not even a service. The host treat you like a family member, the attitude is very personal and everybody at Cli Surf is very responsive to all your needs. Surfing lessons are amazing. You will never expect how fast you'll make your progress. You would be able to catch your wave probably on the first day of training. Instructions are very professional and again very personal. So, even though you may be a part of a group you will never be treated on a common basis. Approach is really individual, so you will progress according with your own performance. Cli Surf is a surf camp you will never regret going to. If you are as lucky as I am you will find good friends there, who will inspire and share unforgettable moments with you, as for me, I'll definitely go there again to continue my surfing education and to shake hands of my Cli Surf friends again!

Sun, sea, and surfing. A few weeks ago I went to Cli Surf Morocco with a couple friends and we had an amazing time! We learned how to surf, even though we weren't natural at it. I would recommend this trip to everyone because the people are really nice and besides teaching us how to surf they also took us around to show all of the beautiful surroundings, they've really given us a holiday of a lifetime.

Great. Three friends and I stayed in the surf house for a whole week and everything was perfect. The people who are running the place are very friendly and helpful. They totally adapt themselves to your wishes and they take care of everything. The surf teachers were also great. They help you to learn how to surf and at the same time you can have a lot of fun with them. If you're looking for a relaxed vacation with fun people and lots of extra trips through the country, I really recommend this lovely place!

The owner Larsen and his whole team did everything to make me feel comfortable. Surfing with the great and very friendly instructors was awesome: I had a lot of fun and made good progress. Every day we went to the spot with the best conditions. The equipment (boards and wetsuits) was also very good. The surf house is very nice and the rooms are equipped in Moroccan style. Also the food taken on the roof terrace was very delicious. I can strongly recommend this surf camp.

Excellent surf camp. In 2014 - 2015 New Year's holiday, I was in Cli Surf Morocco. Everything was great, even better than I expected. I can recommend Cli Surf Morocco to everyone who wants to go surfing in Morocco. Camp helps always trying to find the perfect place to surf for people with different levels of skating. Comfortable accommodation is fully consistent with the level and price of the hostel, food far exceeded my expectations, and most importantly very helpful staff, which creates a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere throughout the holidays, help to solve absolutely all the problems that may arise during the holiday.

Amazing experience. I stayed at Cli surf in March 2014 on a one-week beginners surf camp. Larsen and Mohamed, the owner and instructor, were so cool. I had an amazing experience, Larsen and his family could not do enough for me, and Mohamed was a really fun instructor. Cannot recommend this place enough, great accommodation, food and people, good times.

Live the adventure at Cli Surf Camp in Tamraght. I stayed one week in January 2015 in Cli Surf Camp in Tamraght, for learning surfing of course. Mohamed and Azdine picked me up on the airport in Agadir and drove me to Cli Surf Camp which is an ideal location near the beach and to the top surf spots of Morocco. Rooms are basic but everything you need, clean, secure, and everything works. There is a nice rooftop where you can view the sunset. The founder and owner, Larsen, and his great staff, Mohamed, Azdine, and Rachid are always very friendly and helpful. I can really recommend you Cli Surf Camp. And don't forget to go to Paradise Valley for relaxing! Day trips to Marrakech are also possible and worth to visit.

That was good! The camp is placed at a small village near the ocean. It's around 30 minutes from Agadir. It is a four-floor house with a bunch of rooms for surfers. Nothing special, but you should understand it's a camp, not a hotel. So you are there just to sleep and have breakfast and dinner. You will spend the rest of the time at one of beautiful spots and learn surfing. I think that is all you need as a surfer.I had had no experience in surfing before I visited this camp. Now I can stand on a board and do simple surfing. Instructors taught me some basic principles and as a result I was happy to stand and catch a wave. For me that was enough. At the end of a day there was nice dinner with traditional food. After hard work at some surf spot it was perfect. Thank you, Cli Surf.

The best yoga surf week ever. If you are considering booking onto one of the retreats, I recommend you do so immediately! As a fairly inexperienced yogi and beginner surfer, I enjoyed every single minute alongside much more experienced folks. Everything is thought through to ensure your absolute enjoyment and relaxation from early morning dynamic yoga classes, to hours of fun on the stunning beaches, right through to restorative yoga in the rooftop shala whilst you watch the sun dip below the ocean. Larsen was a great host and manager. Yoga teacher Anna is so full of smiles and very patient (when needed) and really excellent, inspiring teacher. Really delicious veggie food is created all week by the in house chef Rachid and his team and the surf instructors Bob and Red are great fun and very knowledgeable. It's a magical week where letting go of the daily grind is easy, go.
