from Austria, January 2018
it is a really awsome quiet little place to calm down from living in a big city with a stressful job.
I was there in January/February which is off season, meaning perfect conditions for beginners, so during surf season it is crowded like everywhere.
Often I had the surfspot for myself or shared it with 2-4 others.
To cook yourself will help you save money as restaurants are quite expensive - in the kitchen you will find everything needed.
Susanne and her family were so nice, open, friendliy, generous that I enjoyed my holiday in a very special way.
I recommend this place 100 %!

Patrick met me off the bus from Golfito in the dark. He was polite, kind, and helpful. He led me down a rock path to the main part of town, past the bar's pizza restaurant onto a road next to the coast that has a marine protection of 150 feet, where he showed me a simple quiet room of 2 beds and let me sleep so well listening to the sea and waves. I woke to Susan entering the building to open the office. The building has Wi-Fi and it is full of surfboards for rental in very reasonable price. I took a cool shower and made some fried eggs from the fridge. It is very simple and 10-12 dollars a night. As I stayed for a month, I got a discount. Susan and Patrick are great laid-back couple. They have a house to rent as well as a farm. They give guided animals and wildlife tours.
