That’s why you have to discover your limits and find your full potential on the beautiful beach in France. You can surf as much as you want without being worried as you will get the best surf guiding to develop your skills!
Surf House Brittany offers you a surf accommodation in a characteristic Breton house with attractive, newly renovated rooms that all have their own bathroom, TV, and comfortable beds. On the first and second floor of the surf house, you’ll find three double rooms and one triple room. Each of the rooms features single beds, bathroom with shower, sink, sheets and covers, as well as internet.
On the ground floor, there is a large kitchen and living room. The kitchen is equipped with all modern facilities to prepare your own dinner. The kitchen and living room are the meeting points of the surf house where you can meet the other guests. Next to the wood stove is the best place to relax after a complete day surfing. You can also relax in a large, quiet garden with hammocks on the south side in front of the surf house.
In the morning over breakfast, you will discuss the day ahead and where to find the best places to surf. Alex will guide you to every spot in the region and tell you the place and time to go surfing. It will depend on your surfing level as well as the swell, the tides, the wind, etc.
To complete your surfing sessions, you can make use of Charcuterie Surf House Brittany’s soft tops and wetsuits. After you finished surfing, you can put the wetsuits in a covered area for drying and then place them along with the boards in a locked shed. Since you will be served breakfast only, you will be free to plan your day and not be stuck to a pre-planned schedule.
This surf camp will take place at Surf House Brittany in Plouhinec. The surf house is 1 kilometer from several bars, restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. Plouhinec is located in the north of the Bay of Audierne. South up to La Torche, you’ll find large sand beaches behind the dunes and the typical Breton galets.
Up to the north towards Audierne, there are many small beaches and bays where dolphins and fogs are swimming around. On the farthest west point, there’s the impressive Pointe du Raz to visit.
Audierne offers more than 15 different surf spots along a 30-kilometer stretch. It is located between nature, ocean, village, and is in an almost unknown surfers’ paradise in Brittany. There are many different kinds of beaches and surf spots in Brittany. Even though it’s the Atlantic Ocean, it’s always easy to find surf spots in Brittany for all levels of surfing.
You will encounter beach breaks to reef breaks and small easy waves progressing with your level of surfing to some of the best waves you’ve ever seen. There are also plenty of small bays all with different swells and winds.
You will eat breakfast along with the other participants. However, you have to take care of your lunch and dinner. You can use the community kitchen to prepare a meal or go to a nice restaurant in the region.
You can catch a TGV train which will take you directly to Quimper train station, Gare de Quimper.
