"The package staying at the 'Nice Way' & the surf lessons was excellent. The organisation was excellent and as well as learning the basics of surfing, we had a great laugh. Considering I am beginner and partly hopeless at surfing, the teachers had a lot of patience and encouraging words. Would certainly recommend this package! "

"These guys were great and didn't lose patience with me despite how epically bad at surfing I am. They're really good at pointing out what you're doing wrong and encouraging you not to give up."

"In September I spent a week at Cascais surf school and I decided to have my accommodation in the school's surf camp. The weather was great, Cascais is sunny and quite warm till the end of October! It was a great choice because I had the opportunity to stay the whole day with the other guys and instructors of the school. The hostel was so nice, clean and with a common space outside, where you could socialize with other guys. The environment is very international with people from all over the world and it's very easy to make new friendships. Bathrooms and rooms were always clean (I stayed one night in the single room-great!!!- and six in the mixed dorm); in the kitchen I could use the fridge and all the facilities to prepare my food. Breakfast was ok with a choice of different breads, juice, milk and marmalades. The hostel is in the centre of Cascais, a nice and friendly Portuguese city; you can also rent a bicycle for free, near the surf camp. The amazing city of Lisbon is only half an hour by train, making it very easy to reach for visiting during the day or going out in the evening.I had surf classes both in the morning and in the afternoon. Instructors pick the guys up and bring them to the best beaches according to the ocean conditions. The four instructors do a warm up all together and then divided classes into little groups of four to six guys. They were all kind and patient, explaining very well how to surf and, inside the water, trying to help us as much as possible to catch the waves!I really recommend this experience to everyone who would like to surf and have a great holiday with sun, beach, friends, sport and fun! I will be back for sure next year!"
