The meeting places in the house

The surfinstructors couldnt focus on all of us. (Sometimes we were also more than 6 students). And they weren't into real teaching (not really passionated) It was hard so to improve my surfing.

Really enjoyed my stay there. I met great people and had lots of fun. The surf lessons were very good, the instructors very nice and patient. I definitely recommend going there.

The people, the ocean, and the surf lessons! It was a wonderful experience overall. The surf school is located in a little town 20 min from Lisbon. The surf school took us everyday with their vans to one of the surfing beaches around, usually 5-10 away. There are also other activities around. You could go to the beach, do stand up paddling, or go for a short trip to Sintra. The surfcamp usually organizes BBQ or tapas dinners every few days, and the prices are reasonable. It's a great way to know other people in the surfcamp and to go out and party. I made many friends after a week of staying there, and had a lot of fun!

The bed mattress was not comfortable, and the breakfast could be better.

A very nice surfcamp in a beautiful fisher village with lots of stuff to do before or after surfing, i.e. yoga, museums, party, hiking etc. Wonderful staff - very friendly and flexible. I had a lot of fun!

Good location, very central in Cascais, the beach for swimming/sunbahting is just around the corner. The surfing beach is ca. in 10 min reachable by car. Friendly hosts, happy people all around :) The surf lessons were real fun. Besides surfing there are plenty of activities to do, like climbing, kayaking or yoga. Perfect holiday :)

The package staying at the 'Nice Way' & the surf lessons was excellent. The organisation was excellent and as well as learning the basics of surfing, we had a great laugh. Considering I am beginner and partly hopeless at surfing, the teachers had a lot of patience and encouraging words. Would certainly recommend this package!

I will highly recommend the school to anyone who wants to learn how to surf or improve their surfing skills. The instructors were very committed, friendly and skilled. I even took some additional classes because I enjoyed it so much!

These guys were great and didn't lose patience with me despite how epically bad at surfing I am. They're really good at pointing out what you're doing wrong and encouraging you not to give up.

In September I spent a week at Cascais surf school and I decided to have my accommodation in the school's surf camp. The weather was great, Cascais is sunny and quite warm till the end of October! It was a great choice because I had the opportunity to stay the whole day with the other guys and instructors of the school. The hostel was so nice, clean and with a common space outside, where you could socialize with other guys. The environment is very international with people from all over the world and it's very easy to make new friendships. Bathrooms and rooms were always clean (I stayed one night in the single room-great!!!- and six in the mixed dorm); in the kitchen I could use the fridge and all the facilities to prepare my food. Breakfast was ok with a choice of different breads, juice, milk and marmalades. The hostel is in the centre of Cascais, a nice and friendly Portuguese city; you can also rent a bicycle for free, near the surf camp. The amazing city of Lisbon is only half an hour by train, making it very easy to reach for visiting during the day or going out in the evening.I had surf classes both in the morning and in the afternoon. Instructors pick the guys up and bring them to the best beaches according to the ocean conditions. The four instructors do a warm up all together and then divided classes into little groups of four to six guys. They were all kind and patient, explaining very well how to surf and, inside the water, trying to help us as much as possible to catch the waves!I really recommend this experience to everyone who would like to surf and have a great holiday with sun, beach, friends, sport and fun! I will be back for sure next year!
