Introduction to the boat and crew before setting off for a sunset sail to the island of Saint Vincent. Sailing time is six hours and you will anchor for the night in a calm beach close to where the film ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ was made.
In the morning, you will set off early from Saint Vincent and have breakfast while motoring down the stunning tropical coastline. The sail takes five hours to the first kite spot and you may even catch a fish on the way! The destination is 'Mayreau Gardens', a good place to test the Caribbean conditions. The evening is spent at anchor in the lagoon.
After breakfast, it is time for another early morning kite session in the Gardens before setting sail for an hour to Union Island. Union is the main village of the Grenadines and has a vibrant local ‘Rasta’ culture.
Here you will find a colorful market and a selection of local bars, shops, and restaurants. The afternoon kite session is in the flat lagoon followed by sunset drinks on ‘Happy Island Bar’, Kitebeach or in the local village.
You will spend the day kiting in Union Lagoon. The kite spot has excellent freestyle conditions in the turquoise flat water lagoon. There are also fun waves in Palm Island, 15 minutes ride upwind.
Between kite sessions, you may watch the action from the boat’s trampoline or relax on a sun lounger on kite beach. Evening entertainment is in a local village or on ‘Happy Island’ (rasta bar in the middle of the lagoon).
Start the day with a morning kite session in Union Lagoon followed by lunch on board or in a typical local restaurant. In the afternoon, there is an optional down winder beside the catamaran to Fregate Rock, your next destination. Fregate is an exceptionally flat freestyle spot with offshore wind. A rescue boat is available. Evening entertainment is at Chatham Bay beach bar.
Fregate is a very popular spot for the guests so you will generally spend another day kiting here. In the evening you will set sail for an hour to the private island resort called PSV. Here there is a stylish cocktail bar for the hotel residents which sailors can also visit.
In the morning guests can hike up the hill in PSV for a stunning view of the lagoon. Most destinations offer a wide selection of watering holes for the thirsty kiter and a variety of restaurants specializing in local cuisine. Evenings on the boat are spent relaxing over a few beers whilst the crew prepares the barbecue. Discuss the day's events, play your music over the boats music system, or twist the skipper's arm to get out his guitar.
For beginner, you may take one-hour private lesson or shared lesson by two persons. For intermediate package, there is eight hours of semi-private or five hours of private lesson with unlimited kite rental and supervision and rescue included.
