Cape Point Surf Yoga Camp provides two high-quality surf lessons per day for those who want to learn and serious surf guiding for those who want to get the best waves in Cape Town. They believe that yoga and surf complement one another and so, therefore, they offer yoga classes in their new, beautiful yoga studio.
What does a surf and yoga day at Cape Point Surf Yoga Camp look like? You wake up, have a delicious and healthy breakfast, head on down to the best spot of the day, make your cool little beach setup, hit the waves for a surf lesson, chill on the beach and eat your tasty light lunch, hit the waves again, and then come home to re-energize with an afternoon yoga session. After this, you often take a little drive to an epic sundowner spot or have a drink in the jacuzzi.
If the weather is not so great for chilling on the beach between sessions, you usually come back to the surf camp to have a super lunch and warm up again before you brave the elements for another surf. When you arrive, you have a little sitdown and a chat to assess where you are in your surfing or yoga abilities. So whether you are a total beginner an intermediate (level two) or very experienced, Cape Point Surf Yoga Camp will make the best possible plan for you.
They understand that everyone is on a different level and will make sure that you are not being held back by others or pushed beyond your abilities. Remember, they only take a maximum of eight guests at a time which makes their packages very flexible. So if you want to chop and change a few things, maybe stay a day more or a day less or add a yoga session here or there, just contact them and they make a custom plan for you. They do not charge extra to make custom plans.
The package includes all equipment rental such as wetsuits, surfboards, yoga mats, etc. Cape Point Surf Yoga Camp does not charge surfboard insurance. They understand that mistakes happen.
Yoga
There will be 10 yoga sessions included in the package. Cape Point Surf Yoga Camp believes that surf and yoga complement one another so they have also developed this package that integrates the two arts. All levels are welcome, there is no judgment. The purpose is to help you find the inner peace residing in your body. The goal is to improve your inner and outer balance, and your physical strength and push your limits of flexibility.
