The coast of Maremma, beaten by an excellent mild wind with a variation from 12 to 25 knots during the period from April to September, is the ideal place for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and sailing. If you love water sports and want an active holiday, ReWind Sup & Windsurf is the news for you!

The windsurf, surf, and SUP school with a qualified instructor and equipment rental point is located at the private beach and is suitable for everyone, for adults and children.

Learning the main surfing techniques and basics will be easy and fun, in the frame of the splendid sea of the Maremma coast. Two hours lesson are for one person. Times to be agreed on the spot with the instructor.

Rocchette beach

Rocchette Known by the tourists of all nationalities, Rocchette is the locality where our holiday village is. The lush vegetation and clear sea reign on this small village in the municipality of Castiglione della Pescaia. Famous for its sea, awarded by Legambiente five sails for its sea and striking nature, is located at the foot of the promontory of Punta Ala and is connected to the town centre of Castiglione della Pescaia and to the various places of interest.

Castiglione della Pescaia

Just six kilometers from Rocchette, Castiglione della Pescaia is a medieval town and renowned seaside resort with golden beaches and crystalline sea waters, one of the most loved places by the tourists. In the lower part of the town there are shops, restaurants, bars, and the medieval castle which lies in the district part, the oldest one.

Cala Violina beach

The beach of Cala Violina, owes its name to the sound that makes the sand when it is stepped on, untouched nature and crystal-clear sea are the backdrop for this wonderful landscape. it is known as one of the most beautiful beaches of the Maremma, located between Punta Ala and Follonica, is part of the nature reserve Banish Scarlino.

The beach can be reached easily by public transportation such as shuttles and buses, with both cars and motorcycles. As for the parking facilities for cars and motorcycles, places are limited, being in a nature reserve. The car park is located about 1.5 kilometers from the beach and the path to follow is entirely in nature.

Cala Martina beach

As Cala Violina, Cala Martina is part of the Natural Reserve of Bandite Scarlino. The beach is not very wide and is divided by the headland “Punta French.” In this place, thanks to the magnificent waters and rocks present, it is possible to dive and discover what is behind this sea.

Maremma Regional Park

Thick vegetation, magnificent glimpses of the sea, sandy shores frame this stunning park with historical background as well. St. Rabano’s abbey, built in the XIII century and the Uccellina’s tower of the 1321. The nature waits to be explored through different kinds of route, perfect for a walk, trekking or bike tour.

Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve

Located between Castiglione della Pescaia and Grosseto, this protected area in Tuscany is one of the most important wetlands in Italy because of its rare wildlife. It is one of the few areas in Italy where flamingos live. The Casa Rossa (the Red House), “guardian” of the reserve, commissioned by Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo in 1765 to engineer and mathematician Leonardo Ximenes, was projected as a big hydraulic damper. Nowadays the red house has become a museum and observation point, as well as a centre for information and research.

The Mama Restaurant, with panoramic terrace overlooking the pool, is a place where the hospitality comes first, where the tasty food is made using excellent ingredients, all in a great location for an unforgettable experience. The Mediterranean cuisine, with a selection of typical Tuscan dishes, is made of simple ingredients cooked wisely: the home made pasta and a fine selection of typical local wines are the right choice to enjoy a meal in the traditional style.

The “Tegamata”, special dish with Gragnano pasta served directly into the baking pan, is the Mama specialty: the “Calamarata” is definitely the most appreciated by guests. À la carte menu with take-away service, menu for half/full board, pizzeria with wood oven and pool-snack-bar.
