The main accommodation is located just a few steps from Meio da Joaquina beach and is composed by two 40-square-meter private studios equipped with full kitchen facilities, private bathrooms, Wi-Fi connection, balcony with a barbecue place, and 3 private houses with 2 bedrooms (single or double bed). Location
Bathed by 42 beaches, Florianopolis is a wonderful sight for the visitor in Brazil. Situated on the Island of Santa Catarina, this capital state of Santa Catarina has a landscape sprinkled with lakes, sand dunes, forests, and small islands all along the coast. The inviting waves on beaches such as Joaquina and Praia Mole have encouraged successive national and international surfing championships such as the WCT (World Championship Tour).
Florianopolis is also a very privileged city for surfing since it receives swells from the main quadrants, east and south. It is possible to surf almost every day because waves are going from 2 to 10 feet (0.5 to 3 meters) in all 4 seasons of the year. Conditions vary depending on swell, wind direction, and intensity as well as the break’s bottom.
Food
Brazil has a wide variety of food and even wider variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, delis, bakeries, markets, and supermarkets. Good quality meals will range from 5 USD to 30 USD (top restaurants). Seafood is very cheap and mostly appreciated in most of the coastal cities. In Florianopolis, you can get a dozen of oysters for about 3 USD.
