I stayed at the Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort for 14 days and loved it! I knew things were going to be great when I arrived past midnight on a flight from LAX and the security guards met me at the shuttle with my room keys in hand. I mentioned to them that I was hungry and they even went in the refrigerator and got me gluten free bread and peanut butter. The whole staff is beyond amazing, the yoga classes top notch and the food, did I mention the FOOD! The chef had a wide variety of food and his soups were amazing. I had planned only to have breakfast there everyday but the food was so good and the property so amazing that I only went out to eat 4-5 times in my 14 day stay. Mariella and Jose at the front desk were the best in customer service as well as every one of the servers in the restaurant. One night there was a big electrical storm and I decided to go ahead and venture out of my room to go up to dinner. I started walking up the hill when a security guard came walking beside me with an umbrella. He walked me to the restaurant and then turned and walked away. I didn't get a chance to even thank him. So maybe someone who reads this can let him know that gesture was so appreciated. I will be back.

The most amazing place I've ever stayed! The staff were always friendly and went above-and-beyond to help us. A great variety of classes. You get one class per day, but they are flexible and let you use the passes whenever you want (we did no classes day 1, but 2 classes on day 2, etc). I did not adjust well to the time change, so I loved that the pool was open 24 hours and I could start swimming in the dark, and be in the water as the sun rose and birds flew around me. Buffet has a good variety of food. As a vegetarian for 27 years, it was the healthiest and most delicious food I ever had on vacation. We loved the juice bar and went multiple times per day. The best part: wildlife!!! We got to see a family of Howlers pass through twice (swinging on trees, eating mangos). There is a giant iguana that lives by the pool. I called him the lifeguard. And we had a blue jay that joined us for breakfast each morning....literally...sitting on a seat at our table. There were a lot of bugs, but that is expected for the season and a jungle. I got used to them, but wish I packed more long pants instead of shorts. Overall, I LOVED my stay. I cried when I checked-out (and got a free hug). I wish I could stay at Bodhi Tree forever. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

We had the most wonderful experience! My cousin and myself have both been wanting to try aerial yoga and there was no better place to have our first experience. The teacher was so kind and helpful, made us feel completely welcomed. I wish we were staying longer so we could go to more classes. Can't wait to come back! Pura Vida

Bodhi Tree could be amazing if they were just a bit more organized and the staff had just a bit more training. The pilates institute that they work with completely flubbed all of my partner's reservations. While some of the hotel staff is absolutely amazing, others-especially at reception-are not; they seem tired and annoyed by simple requests like an extra towel or transportation to the beach.

The Bodhi Tree is beautiful and relaxing. The juice bar and sea salt pool are the heart of the resort, and I could spend hours in this luxurious space. The staff is all genuinely friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable at Bodhi Tree, and would recommend this off the beaten path location to anyone looking for a home away from home. Don't miss!

I have been coming to Nosara / Playa Guiones for numerous years and have witnessed the town's many developments. The Bhodi Tree Resort adjacent to the Nosara Yoga Institute takes resort living to another level. Simply stunning architecture with Zen like accommodation, perched above the ocean with a huge saltwater infinity pool, spa, restaurant, organic juice bar, daily yoga classes or weeklong yoga and / or meditation retreats, a pilates studio in the making and the beach with world class surfing within walking distance. My new favorite hangout in the tropics.

This was an amazing place to stay for our one-week yoga retreat to Costa Rica. The yoga classes were simply wonderful. They were relaxed and great for me to find my inner peace. What's even more amazing were the people and the staff. The yoga teacher training program attracts genuinely nice people from all over, and the hotel facilities easily allow you to meet people and have pleasant conversations. The hotel staff is beyond wonderful. They really take care of you and go out of their ways to help you. They were even worried about our safety when we didn't return right after our stand up paddle boarding after dark. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very well taken care of. Overall just a wonderful place to stay and relax and chill. The beach is also near by, which has amazing sunsets everyday. The Nosara town is simple and cute. It was a perfect place to get away from the winter cold in the USA, chill, and soak up some sun while practice some yoga. Hoping to return soon!

Stayed at this beautiful facility while I was in Nosara. The resort is stunning, lush green foliage surround, 1 or 2 bedroom suites on the hillside. The grounds include sitting areas, walking paths, and waterfalls. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner Gary, and his staff were very accommodating and polite. Made sure that I was absolutely comfortable at all times. The food is made fresh daily and is very healthy, they have a lot of fresh fruits, salads, and rice dishes. The beach near the resort is gorgeous as well. I would highly recommend staying at or even visiting this resort.

I spent two weeks at Bohdi Tree Yoga Resort this Christmas; it was absolutely breathtaking! I didn't really know what to expect on my first trip to Costa Rica, but couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised! The food at the resort was freshly made and so healthy! The spa couldn't have been more relaxing and I often found myself at the juice bar for a great smoothy at some point during the day! If you enjoy wildlife this is also a great resort to stay at; I saw a monkey or iguana everyday! Don't hesitate to ask the front desk about yoga classes, surf lessons, or simply directions to the beach! I highly recommend this resort and wouldn't hesitate to go back!
