Adrianne is the fun-seeker, socialite, and extrovert of Bodhi — she relishes spending time getting to know the guests. Her love of writing has made her Bodhi’s primary content writer/editor and principal blogger, and her love of food and cooking led her to start offering meals at the surf and yoga camps and now managing the kitchen. Her biggest “life-shaping” events have been travel-related, the most notable being an epic eight month journey to Mexico when she was 12.
Travis is very involved in Bodhi Surf & Yoga's community, active in several committees and projects that aim to preserve or improve their home. He focused on small-business development and helped guide local community members in the creation of their own micro-credit bank during his Peace Corps service. He wears many hats for Bodhi and it is agreed that he has a tireless work ethic; he leads the charge in business development and Bodhi’s corporate responsibility.
Pilar is the grounding energy for Bodhi; her calm composure and “Pura Vida” vibe are evident to all who meet her. She works hard to incorporate fluid breath, graceful movement, and self-reflection into all of her classes. In addition to leading the Bodhi Sessions yoga classes, Pilar is in charge of the administration, staff, bookings, and logistics at Bodhi.
Gibran loves everything about surfing and most importantly he loves to help others improve their own surfing ability. Having learned to surf at age four, Gibran has been in the water and on a board nearly his entire life. However, many of the techniques he uses today with his students were learned primarily through traditional sports such as football, baseball, and basketball. The instruction techniques that were imparted on him while attending baseball or basketball camps as a youth have stuck with him and he now utilizes these past experiences to help others become better surfers.
