The guest house is a brand new accommodation in Peniche, which lies 100 meters from the beach where sand and rocks can be found. They have different kinds of rooms, with or without bathrooms, some with ocean views, all of those in a quiet and relaxing area. You can enjoy a big common space with cable television and Wi-Fi as well as a big equipped kitchen. Bars, restaurants, and shops are a walking distance away. The bus stop is just off the guesthouse street.
Program
This camp has been created for a full immersion in those watersports. From the first-time beginner to the agonist or competition surfer, Boa Onda Guesthouse can help you improve your abilities, thanks to their graduated teachers. They might add to the hours in the water, skate sessions, and photo or video coaching as proven training methods to help you improve. You will have five surf classes and one skate class during this camp.
Instructors
Chiara
Chiara is an experienced yogi and qualified yoga teacher who has her own studio in Ravenna, Italy. In the summer time she lives here in Peniche where she offers our guests yoga classes featuring hatha and vinyasa asanas. Her classes focus on correct alignment and feature sequences designed to develop strength and flexibility, a perfect compliment for surfing. Chiara is also qualified to provide Thai massage, having trained in Bangkok at the Wat pho International School of Thai Massage.
Marie
Marie, an experienced and qualified yoga teacher, has combined her profound love for surfing with a distinctive style of Holistic Yoga includes Elements of Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga. Her classes integrate Breathwork a harmonious mix of dynamic and calming elements, preparing students for surfing adventures while promoting relaxation in the evenings. With a focus on balancing the mind, body, and spirit, Marie creates a transformative experience for all attendees.
Pika Dias
Pika, the one and only. An experienced bodyboarder and surfer, with over 7 years of teaching experience. He brings a smile to every students face and believes a good smile is the best antidote for any worries. If he isn't in the water teaching, he is sharing his love for music with our guests. And yes - it's impossible to take a photo of him without him making a funny face.
Javier The Spanish
Meet Javi. Part Spanish and, most likely, part fish. He is a beloved soul surfer, which gives unforgettable words of wisdom throughout your surf classes. There is no better person who can guide you on your surfing journey. The only danger is that you might want to quite your job, move into a camper and become a beach bum after you finish your vacation.

The camp will take place in Atouguia da Baleia, Centro, Portugal. Located in a quiet neighborhood of Peniche, the Boa Onda Guesthouse is a 100-meter walking distance to the beach and very close to Baleal island. Restaurants, supermarkets, bars, and other shops are also within walking distance.

Breakfast, fresh fruit, tea, and coffee every day are included in the price. All meals are in keeping with supporting local producers whenever possible. You will be served with a healthy breakfast with yogurt, milk, (vegan or not) cereals, oats porridge, fresh fruits, eggs, hand-made cakes, coffee, and tea. All guests can use the kettle, toast machine, and coffee machine. The terrace with an ocean view offers you a wonderful breakfast time to connect to nature.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS). Boa Onda Guesthouse can organize your airport transfer. The price is 90 to 100 EUR one way. You need to book the transfer in advance. You can use Uber directly from the airport. The cost is about 60 EUR. You can also rent a car to feel more freedom.
Arrival by bus
There are two bus companies from Lisbon to Peniche. Both are pretty close to the airport. To get to the bus station, you can take a classic taxi from the airport to Sete Rios or to Campo Grande (about 7 EUR, 10 minutes driving) or you can use Uber (the price should be much cheaper). In Lisbon, you can also use the metro to get to Sete Rios bus station. There is a metro station next to the airport. You have to take the red line from the airport to Sao Sebastiao and then the blue line to Jardim Zoologico where there is the bus station Sete Rios.
You can buy your ticket online and it costs 8.60 EUR or you can buy it at the bus station. So, depending on what time you will land in Lisbon, you can choose the best bus option for you because these companies have different schedules. In Peniche, you need to get off at the last very stop (main bus station) because there are some other stops in between. From there, you can organize a pick up with a taxi to your guesthouse (taxi about 8 EUR).
